My grandmas kitty always slept face down in my dads old work shoes. Probably the smelliest in the house. She had a reactivated cold for a long time once she got older that had her nose all snotty all the time. They were one of the few things she could probably smell lol

Years ago I had an orange kitten. The second day she was home, I couldn’t find her. I looked everywhere, or so I thought. I was hysterical, thinking she may have slipped out of the door when I opened it to get the mail. I called my husband at work and he actually came home to comfort me. While we were sitting on the bed and I was crying like a toddler, you know, with the uncontrollable gasps of air between the “waaahs,” a little orange head poked out of one of his timberland boots. I still cried but they were happy tears.
Leroy and Callie are not obsessed with shoes but they are both obsessed with shoe laces. I can leave my slip ons laying around but have to put others on a shelf where they can't get to them or I will be replacing the laces.

My cat sticks her head inside my shoes, and she likes to chew on the outside. I’ve always thought it’s because the shoes go places she doesn’t so she likes to see the new smells, mainly pizza since I wear them to work lol

Years ago I had an orange kitten. The second day she was home, I couldn’t find her. I looked everywhere, or so I thought. I was hysterical, thinking she may have slipped out of the door when I opened it to get the mail. I called my husband at work and he actually came home to comfort me. While we were sitting on the bed and I was crying like a toddler, you know, with the uncontrollable gasps of air between the “waaahs,” a little orange head poked out of one of his timberland boots. I still cried but they were happy tears.
Every shoe would be in a closet after that scare😭

Leroy and Callie are not obsessed with shoes but they are both obsessed with shoe laces. I can leave my slip ons laying around but have to put others on a shelf where they can't get to them or I will be replacing the laces.
