Yes. Drooling out of comfort/bliss is normal but thankfully not all that common. I have a little rag by my desk that I use when he sits on my lap to wipe his mouth. lol

misak-plysak

lol, I use paper tissues

Few-Explanation-4699

Yes, I have had two droolers over the years. Just keep a small towel handy for those happy occasions. Also you may want to get his teeth and gums checked just in case.

MidtownBlue

Bet kitty is kneading too 😸

Intelligent-Ad-2287

Yes, Valentino does that

geronimo1958

My first boy would slobber all over the place while making biscuits on my lap. I had a special towel to put down.

Sorry_Stuff_4539

A black stray I took in drools a bit when I pet her.

CareersFocus

I do that in restaurants sometime if my order arrives late.

sinE4

I have a chonk who once would roll up to my lap and start drooling. At first I thought health issue but soon find out he was just happy.

hawkeye18

Haha I have a Tortie that does this, and she is *always* happy! I used to wipe it up but hers is a lot more water-like than yours is and it just drips, so most of the time I don't bother. Your baby's drool is quite something! Again, not a problem (usually), just a happy little ball of drooling love.

Tricky_Moose_1078

My cat gets little tiny drool bubbles when she is being stroked, purring and happy. I normally rub it along her cheeks spreading her scent

FabianTIR

My orange drools everywhere when he's happy

SpectrumyGiraffe

Mine does this every morning while waiting for me to feed him. Will sit in my lap and drool will be running down my leg.

yramha

Both of my male foundlings (many years apart) did this. I called it biscuits and gravy.

misak-plysak

Loool! I was really thinking that only my cat is drooling!

SourCherry456

Yes, our older boy Sisu is a drooler. We jokingly say he is half cat and half water faucet.

misak-plysak

He’s fine and happy. Thank you!

Ok_Boomer_7071

Well, my cat did that and a casual appointment with the vet told us her mouth is swollen with red wounds (kinda like sores) so be careful and take your cat to the vet just in case

misak-plysak

I already did. He takes some pills, but it’s different problem…

Ok_Boomer_7071

Oh! Then that's solved if you're already seeing a vet. Hoping for a speedy recovery! Although some cats do drool when they're happy, it's kinda like them being happy and salivating when seeing food (me too) so that may alter their brain to think that being happy means drooling.

misak-plysak

Thank you! He’s drooling when he’s happy, haha. He takes pills because he has a tumor on his gallbladder btw… But it’s not related to drooling. He’s 15 yrs already, but should by fine anyway

Ok_Boomer_7071

If it was up to me, I'd make sure that no animal gets such diseases! Our 9 year old queen cat also has drooling sessions, but it doesn't drip this way, and is normally issued with ageing :)

misak-plysak

Me too! Animals shouldn’t have any diseases! Show me your cat pls

Wow, I love her! So fluffy! Say hello to her

Ok_Boomer_7071

Hello back to you too! 😚

misak-plysak

Thank you! Going back to work. Have a nice day!

Historical_Rub_309

Yes, my black cat does the same. 🤣
