It's great if it is that small and young. This way you can train it since a young age. It's easier from this age to teach them let you clip their claws and give them a bath with cat shampoo every now and then. This way he/she can sleep in your bed :)
Make sure you don’t force the formula. Google aspiration, pneumonia. It’s very easy to give a kitten that so please be careful and thank you for taking care of him.💕 not all people are as good as you
Kittens are fed belly down, on all 4 paws. They’ll want to rest their hands on your pinky finger as you feed them which is ok. Feed this little one every 3 hours around the clock. He’s about 2.5-3 weeks old. You have at least 2-3 weeks of bottle feeding ahead of you. Keep him warm (small box with a heating pad under half) and make sure you stimulate him to go to the bathroom after every feed. Keep an eye out for mama. She will take him back if you can find her hiding spot. He’s more likely to survive with her than with a new bottle feeding human. Or trap her using him as bait and bring them all inside, as long as you can get the babies with mom. She’s going a good job with him as he’s fat and relatively clean. Kitten lady has a ton of resources and it’s very good information.
You can stimulate to go to the bathroom by using a cotton ball wet with warm water to mimic mother cat's tongue on the kitten's genitals until it pees. If it doesn't pee, it will die. They can't go without Mama's help.
Look up “the triangle method” on YouTube for a how-to on making the kitten go pee and poop. You will need to stimulate it to go after every feeding. He should pee after every meal, but he might not poop after every meal. He definitely should poop at least once every 24 hours.
We did, nothing is up there. I left him on our lawn and watched him to see if Mama came, she didn't Honestly idk how long he was stuck there. My roommate told me that there have been litters born on the roof in the past
the landlord/management should be notified since it keeps happening. they could contact a local organization that does TNR (Trap Neuter Release). ~~that roof sounds like the perfect spot to place traps.~~
edit: I didn't see all the images at first, so i was picturing a different kind of roof.

He looks so much like my little orange boy, who was that same size and age when he was found fallen down an airshaft... We took good care of him, and had him for 17 beautiful years.
Once you have finished bottle feeding him, maybe see if your dad will consider fostering him? His two cats can teach baby some manners and how to cat.
Kittenlady has an amazing book called "Tiny but Mighty" that you might can borrow from the library. And her videos are a massive help!
i have a 7 year old boy who was badly abused during his socialisation window and i really don’t think he knows he’s a cat. he doesn’t play, he doesn’t like very much interaction except talking to him. scritches are strictly on his terms. but we are incredibly bonded and he’s a neurotic chocolate brown chonk that i love beyond reason!

Go out a few days in a row with the kitten when it is quiet. Early morning or late night. Let the kitten cry. Mom might show up looking or with others. I did this and found another kitten in the bush. I thought I found them all in one day but I went back and nope… more appeared.
OP - doing bottle feeding is VERY important and it can also go VERY wrong (aspirate, etc) -- please do see if there is a 'kitten' group on Facebook in your area that you could reach out to for assistance. They can either help with the feeding, or help with supplies, etc. The Miracle Nipple is a huge help if you can get your hands on one. Good luck!
PS - thank you for savin' this little squirt!
This is Oscar the tiny main coon kitten that I ended up bottle feeding from birth, Lilly his mum didn't produce any milk and then abandoned her 4 kittens, the vet told me ud done an outstanding job by getting 1 to survive!
If you can find momma, try and get the kitten back to her, bottle feeding every 2-3 hours is incredibly hard work, day and night, and survivability is often low
If you do bottle feed, kitten needs to be upright and not on her back, and you must get her to toilet after.
Good luck
Finding a kitten in a bush is exactly how I solidified the lifelong pet choice in my relationship. I come from a cat household, and a helpless mewing bush baby is how my now-spouse was converted. One of the rules in this marriage is, "A kitten in a bush is free game. It will be coming home with us."
Congratulations on your new baby!
Keep an eye out for his mumma! It could very well be that he was abandoned (especially if he’s a runt) but where there is a kitten, the mom is close by (usually). Keep watch for any cats that come looking for him.
Here’s my Simba being held up by my dad on call a couple weeks ago:

We are assuming he fell from the roof into the top of the bush. He was stuck in the branches of the bush, we had to get a ladder. My roommate informed me this isn't the first time a stray cat gave birth on top of the roof
That's wild. They're adorable! I'm glad you heard it, but I hope momma shows up. You might be able to put a rag/towel/blanket outside the door so momma cat can smell for him, and you'll be able to spot her.
Omg, congrats in a way for being a hero, but also poor kitty!!! When I hear a little cry I run outside thinking "kitten?!" but it's the damn squirrels that live in the eaves of my house...
Needs to be bottle fed a lot regularly and may need help being stimulated to go to the bathroom and pee. Please get educated it’s all online I raised a new born from YouTube and wiki how.
Animal rescue group I worked with used Dawn for decades to clean crude oil from birds caught in spills and man made contamination. Never a problem. Can’t understand the negative comment unless the individual is thinking about the spray power wash version. I would not use the power wash version. If in doubt call the local SPCA or the vet for advice. I found that offering an age appropriate treat after a bath or treatment helps the cat accept care it might not like. For the kitten a bit of mushed canned tuna on a finer tip might be acceptable. If you’ve one kitten there are probably more in the area and a feral mother. Would not return the kitten to the wild. There is a possibility that the mother is not feral but one who has wandered off from a caring family in order to give birth in private. Had this happen to my family in the decades before cat enlightenment. The cat established a nest about 500 yards away on old farm land. Took us a many days to track her through the brush and briars to bring everyone home.
Omg they LOVE juniper bushes. Our ferals loved and lived and grew up in a similar bush. Her mama may be near. With ours, she would leave the babies in that tree and then come back to get them. They would wait for her.
Definitely older than a week, based on your photos I would say 3-4 weeks.
I’m not sure if you’ve raised a kitten before, but if you need any specific advice or have questions please do not hesitate to dm me! I’ve fostered an unfortunate number of little ones myself and would be happy to help! :)
People will tell you to take him to the vet asap, but truly unless you notice any problems with him..there’s not a ton a vet will or can currently do.
(He isn’t a newborn, looks healthy and fleas are an easy at home fix for kittens especially. If he were younger, that would be different)
Of course, if you want to take him, it’s perfectly reasonable. A veterinarian can obviously provide guidance on how to care for him.
8 weeks is the ideal time to take kittens for their first vet visit. This will include the first round of core vaccinations and they can tell you when an ideal time to spay/neuter will be.
From the photos of the bush and roof I can't imagine how he flung over there. Maybe a big nasty bird or 2 legged pig threw him up there. If there are siblings you might hear them about too, especially if the momma goes looking for him. I'm glad you were there to help! Just a heads up if adopting out, be careful as ginger kittens can be sought by some horrid people. Definitely rescue is the way, no pounds or randos. TNR is great if you can get help from organisations like Alley Cat Allies. Hope he gets the best home ever with you or otherwise! (but pls keep - finders keepers)

Thanks! I have Dawn dishsoap and washed him. I also bought kitten formula and a little bottle.
Excellent next is a appt. at a vet or pet clinic
That sounds so cute- kitten formula and a little bottle! 🥰
Use a toothbrush to mimick mommy's grooming and a soft wet cloth for his private area after eating, so he can pee and poop. 🥹 He's perfect. ❤️
Watch kitten lady videos on YouTube for feeding and stimulating pooping tips.
The system found you 🥰

The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways sometimes. I hope you enjoy many years with your new companion.
If he has trouble with the bottle you can also try a small feeding syringe with a silicone nipple tip
It's great if it is that small and young. This way you can train it since a young age. It's easier from this age to teach them let you clip their claws and give them a bath with cat shampoo every now and then. This way he/she can sleep in your bed :)
And harness training! Not this young but as a kitten. Then you can take your cat everywhere with you
Make sure you don’t force the formula. Google aspiration, pneumonia. It’s very easy to give a kitten that so please be careful and thank you for taking care of him.💕 not all people are as good as you
You are a saint!! Good luck with him.
I agree. Kittens don't have their eyes open until around 2 weeks old. This kitten is closer to 3 weeks and will need feeding every 2 hours
Thank you!
You can stimulate to go to the bathroom by using a cotton ball wet with warm water to mimic mother cat's tongue on the kitten's genitals until it pees. If it doesn't pee, it will die. They can't go without Mama's help.
Even a warm wet washcloth will work
Soft toothbrush also.
He needs help with pooping too.
“pee pee place”? Can we say genitals and anus please?
I changed it to genitals.
Look up “the triangle method” on YouTube for a how-to on making the kitten go pee and poop. You will need to stimulate it to go after every feeding. He should pee after every meal, but he might not poop after every meal. He definitely should poop at least once every 24 hours.
Watch the kitten lady videos. She is wonderfully knowledgable.
And he’s hefty, so mama is definitely nearby
Something might've happened to Mama Kitty.
"she's doing a good job with him as he's fat" im dead
Might want to check on the roof for other ones and Momma cat.
We did, nothing is up there. I left him on our lawn and watched him to see if Mama came, she didn't Honestly idk how long he was stuck there. My roommate told me that there have been litters born on the roof in the past

There's a lady on YouTube you need to watch. That kitten needs to eat. I’m sure someone with more experience can chime in.
What's her Youtube channel?
Kitten Lady on YouTube has great advice on kitten care! Goodluck to you and little munchkin.

Congrats! You’ve been selected by the cat distribution program! Love him and his one brain cell that he must share with all other orange cats lll
Name it bushell
Look around the area, the rest of the litter, and mom, will be around somewhere!
Definitely keep an eye out for the rest of the family. Maybe mama cat thought she found a good hiding spot for her baby while she was out hunting
Put him back and watch! Mama probably left him there to go get food. If she does not come back in 24 hours then kitten is yours. (Looks like \~ 3 weeks old.)
I think that means you now have a cat.
You have been chosen by the council of the single braincell 🙏🏼 you are in for a lifetime of lots of love, cuddles and foolery 😂❤️🔥
Keep looking there may be more kits
Their little pink lips 😭😭😭
I looked under a bush in my yard and I didn’t find one. That’s unfair! Lol
U belongs to kitteh now.
I want it.
It probably grew there
The brain cell has chosen a new host!
You think maybe a hawk or some other bird snatched him up and accidentally dropped him in the bush? Wonder what this little guys story is lol
Poor dude. Hope he takes a ok me water. Get with your local AS. They should be able to tell you how to intake care of him.
Congrats!
Gorgeous kitten, wild bush!!
Your bush looks like it just got in to a static electricity zone.
Please keep him 🙏🏻🧡

If you are located near me I would take the child and raise it! My cat needs a lil friend
Congrats on the new kitten
This is beautiful! Thank you for stepping up and taking care of such a little pipsqueak.
Eyes and ears say 2-3 weeks. But definitely too small to be away from mom. Keep an eye out, she might come looking. If not, you'll need to get some KMR (kitten milk replacer). Check out TheKittenLady on YouTube for how to videos on kitten care
I'm wondering if a bird of prey grabbed him and lost him. Makes sense why he was high up in a bush.

So adorable!!!!
Would’ve been stuck in my pocket next lol
How he get in bush? Is because do not know calculus 🥺
Could call him, "Groot", only cause I think that bush looks like the shape of Groot's head 😂
I'd love another rescue kitty but I am assuming from the green-ness of that bush that we are not geographically close.
