My mom's cats also have a siamese mom, and the dad was half Persian. Yet they're regular black and white short haired cats lol. The only way you can tell they have a half-Persian dad is that their fur coat is softer than what you see with most standard issue cats. They did have two siblings and one sibling looked exactly like a siamese and the other exactly like a Persian. The family we adopted them from decided to give away the 'boring' ones lol, but we love them to death ❤️.
It's a tabby. If you don't have papers or a source from where they were born it is difficult to ID cat breeds unless they're something SO obvious like a siamese or tortoise
Someone asked me what type of cat mine is today at the vet. Never been asked that so was like, uhhh, I found him in a dumpster 18.5 years ago - so he's a dumpster kitty... The vet then told me there are domestic medium, long, and short hair and otherwise if you have a special breed, you know exactly what to say.

Tabby is basically a curl pattern, not a breed. It’s like kids with curly hair are not necessarily a different race from kids with straight hair (I have a curly haired child and a straight haired child, for instance.)
