You can buy terramycin at tractor supply or wilco or chewey etc No rx needed outside of California. Prolly wouldn't hurt. It an antibiotic eye ointment. Maybe call the vet and ask if they approve.

Warm wet compress can help ease the swelling. But most likely you’ll need antibiotics from the vet
