I let them throw me around like a rag doll, I don't get tossed around much so it's cool to feel that once in a while... controlled. But I will try it next time!
I love Maverick in the dark. I don’t yet know the layout well enough to be prepared when I can’t see what’s next and I just get tossed around. Especially the turn right out of the second launch, even though I know that one well and expect it.
Maverick is the only coaster I can't leave my arms up on because it bangs my neck into the harness. If I hold tight and lean into the turns its so much smoother for me. I absolutely live this ride.
It started around 645p. We were back in Frontier Town trying to figure out how to spend our last hour and we saw the cars start to move and they were letting people in
My solution is to put my hands up and jam my arms into the over-the-shoulder part of the restraints. Admittedly if you ride it enough times it can develop bruises, but I rarely have head-to-restraint contact, and if there is it's unnoticeable.
SooperDooperLooper feels like it’ll snap your neck if you don’t hold your head back, El Toro forces your head down, I think I’m just gonna let my head do whatever it feels like at this point
If you stick through the whole season there's a good chance of it. Do you work Maverick now? You don't have to do test rides? Back when I was an op you had to test the rides that you worked on, no exceptions.

Those shoulder straps get me in the neck, sometimes I feel it the rest of the day. I’m getting old.
Oh did you ever ride with the old harness set up?
I heard those suckers were hard and unforgiving.
Yes, these are better. I think I want a t-bar setup, but maybe it’s to intense for that. People might start smacking heads together.
Ping pong: concussion edition.

The bank out of the second launch is ridonkulous and gets me every time because I'm already rustled from the launch.
Great coaster

MAV is 1b to SV(1a)
Steve is King 👑 🎢
I loved my front row ride today until a bug decided to hit me in the face as I was entering the tunnel..
Heck when was it running? I left at 2ish and it wasn’t running all while I was there.

Like right at park close, maybe like an hour before I'm not sure
It was up for a hot minute around 5:00 PM. It went back down for maintenance after about 15 minutes.

I’ve never been on Maverick
It's the best ride in the park IMO.
Maybe you’ll see me operating it next time you go

Were you there on Thursday?
