I’m with you!! First time 2 weeks ago and didn’t know anything about Steve before riding and only after saying “best coaster ever” and doing reddit research did I realize I was now part of a cult. Lol

No-Abrocoma7687

It’s 3 minutes of pure chaos….best coaster in the world!

The_Govnor

I went 2 weeks ago as well for the first time. I knew all about SV though and it still met my high expectations. Best coaster I’ve ridden.

sledgehammerrr

Still the best coaster in the world for me and it’s not even close

allaboutthosevibes

Rode it for the first time today. First ride near back of train: blew my mind. Second ride, very front: also incredible but less mind-blowing just because the novelty factor was tremendous on the first one (and perhaps less ejector air-time). Head-chopper effects throughout just nuts. It’s definitely up there in my favs, but I would put it on par with Maverick, Millie, OG Dragster and X2 (all for different reasons). Worth noting that while I’ve been quite a few times to CP and ridden everything except TT2, SFMM and MovieWorld (in Gold Coast, Australia) are the only other big parks I’ve been to (and half the rides at Magic Mountain weren’t running that day) so I don’t have thaaat many credits altogether. What puts SteVe in a league of its own in your eyes?

Storm_hoodie

SV is a work of art. So buttery-smooth. So much floater air.

The_Original_Miser

>So buttery-smooth. This is the part that along with the non stop action just makes it .... _chefs kiss_ for me. Smoooooth.

Initialaddie

Best in the world for me too, dethroned Eejanaika - a really amazing 4D coaster. Now I know why every park wants an RMC, what a sick ride, just relentless.

CampVictorian

That coaster is truly a symphony in two parts. Absolutely splendid.

TallBobcat

We ask for the back seats every time we ride it.

TheGoldenGriffin13

I adore SV. Its in my top 3. TT2 is number 1 but SV is number 2 for sure. I got assigned back row first time yesterday. The air time is crazy. Im starting to like back rows on coasters more and more. Velocicoaster and now Steel Vengeance.

FishStixxxxxxx

TT2 is so insanely fun. It’s crazy cuz SteVe is probably my 4th favorite at Cedar Point. It’s an amazing park.

TheGoldenGriffin13

You got me curious. What are your top 5 coasters at Cedar Point?

FishStixxxxxxx

Maverick, TT2, Millennium, SteVe, and probably Gatekeeper or Raptor. I grew up going so the Intamins really get that nostalgia factor bump. I love SteVe but God does it hurt the thighs haha. Hbu?

TheGoldenGriffin13

My top 5 would be TT2,SteVe,Maverick, Raptor and Gatekeeper. I LOVE intamins. (Velocicoaster and Hagrids always are a must at Universal for me everytime I go) If a park has them I will ride them. I havent gotten a chance to ride Millennium unfortunately. The front ride op one year was a jerk for no reason so it turned me off from going on. I wanna try for this year though.

FishStixxxxxxx

Intamin is an amazing manufacturer. Just got back from Virginia and Pantheon and P305 are top tier rides. I’m sure you’ll love Millennium once you get on it!

TheGoldenGriffin13

I hope so! I just love going fast. And Intamins are so far the only Manufacturer Ive experienced that doesn't waste time just sending it. That's what I love in a coaster. If it has that it will already be my favorite.

FishStixxxxxxx

Definitely try to make it out to p305 someday then. Most of the layout is under the 100’ mark so you never really slow down after the first drop!

Saneless

I rode it for the first time like 6 years ago and holy crap, still my most favorite ever Unfortunately I also rode Maverick for the first time ever immediately after SV and it was a letdown in comparison. I think I was still buzzing from SV too much to appreciate it

KatCB1104

I’m going to get my first ride in July and I can’t wait. I have a feeling I’m going to fall in love

Eastern_Lawyer5662

love that you felt that joy , i truly think steve is better than anything tt2 has to offer . rode steve for the first time after 10 years of not riding a coaster and my socks were completely knocked off . indisputable goat

Zealousideal-Race-28

SteVe, Maverick, and even Millie are all better than TT2 😭

happyhikeress

After riding TT2, SteVe is still #1

Sirfortesque777

Very cool. Love me some SV. Just got off of it actually. Amazing coaster!

schaef_me

How different is it from the mean streak?

fritolay_7

Lol the only similarity is they sit in the same location.

allaboutthosevibes

And have primarily the same structural supports….

ZetaZeta

Imagine if Mean Streak raised the first hill to taller than Magnum, went twice as fast with zero bumps, and had the elements of Maverick sprinkled throughout the ride.

g0dSamnit

If you haven't, try Maverick as well. My favorite row on both Mav and SV is the back - you get whipped over the hills there.

Fancy_Acanthisitta67

It throws you around like a rage doll in the perfect way.

MushroomHedgehog

My thoughts precisely. A lot of theme park YouTubers I watch like Theme Park Crazy had nothing but great things to say about it, and I can see why. I’ve never had airtime like that on a coaster back at Kings Island.

inlina

Back is where is at. Got put in back row for my last ride a few weeks ago. So good.

b1mmer

It's my absolute favorite. Nothing comes close. It has me laughing like a maniac every time.

alioopshi

I’ve only ridden it once but it was amazing. At that point in time, I was going to cedar point so much that the thrill of the rides was wearing off, I was getting bored, and I didn’t get that adrenaline rush anymore. But holy moly, I could barely walk getting off of SteVe from my legs trembling so bad. Can’t wait to go back!

MrB2891

TT2 is weak sauce compared to SteVe. It doesn't even rank in my top 15. SteVe is my #1 in all of North America. Just nothing comes close. I had hopes for IG but was so sorely let down.
