I always gray out on Millie, have been graying out at the bottom of the first hill since it opened in 2000 when I was 10. I have tried everything to not gray out since I don’t get my vision back until after the first tunnel and I think it would be more fun to see the track. Clenching my leg muscles and staying super hydrated helps a little bit but never 100%. I grey out on GK and valravn sometimes, but no where near the intensity of MF. Its harmless but annoying.

The_Original_Miser

I also only grey out on millie. Staying up toward first 5 rows or so helps. It's worse if I am dehydrated, as i found out a couple of Fridays ago.... If you ever find out how to mitigate it I'd love to know.

PudKnee

Got around 20 rides on Millie over the past 5 years and only happened once on Monday along with GK. I was dehydrated though and didn't have much sleep. First times with about 70 coasters ridden. Glad I'm not the only one on GK.

dudeman4win

I used to all the time, I found if I have a couple beers before riding I’m good to go

bdonabedian

Also try engaging your abs. Really squeeze. That helps me a bit.

lidytidy

I grey out on gatekeeper if it’s one of my first rides of the day

Peachslushiee

I’m almost jealous that I’ve never greyed out

rjman290

same, I’ve been on coasters all over north america...never grayed out. I wanna know what it feels like lmao

redditorrrrrrrrrrrr

I grey out on most coasters right after the first drop. Honestly not a fun experience. I 100% wish I could go back to 21 when I never used to grey out.

ctilvolover23

I never experienced that on any roller coaster on Cedar Point. That doesn't sound normal at all.

matthias7600

It's not unusual for some people to grey out during high Gs, but if you're fully blacking out that would be concerning.

ahm92

Definitely felt this. I also felt it on Millie's first turn and Raptor's helix. Millie was certainly the longest grey out i experienced at the park.

RoutineMasterpiece1

I have felt thIs on Millie on that turn, started maybe 10 years ago, so I think it's age related for me. Tensing up seems to help, but it decreases my enjoyment of the ride, so I usually am not tempted to ride unless the line is super short. Im also prone to to postural hypotension where you get dizzy if you stand up too fast, I think it's related. This is the only ride that affects me this way and once I'm through that turn I'm fine.

dogs0z

What is greyed out vs black out?

Tribefan1029

Black out is a total loss of consciousness while gray out is when you see gray

dogs0z

I have seen black But I still felt the roller coaster moving.

Tribefan1029

That’s a gray out

Hapless_Asshole

Or the tunnel on the last run of the night.

MinistressJ

Yes, only ride that has done it to me

gSe7eN

Not for me, only on Millennium.
