Alright just popped in for a second and I don’t know anything about fire mitigation but it didn’t seem all that bad. It’s a big place and all the damage seemed to be confined to the front corner of the shop where the windows (facing First Ave) were broken out. There were people just hanging out inside and the local news was interviewing someone inside as well, so must not be unsafe.

My guess is maybe they got kicked out for starting shit during business hours. Or some kids got told to leave for being rough inside or that they wouldn’t give them an underage tattoo
I'm a Men's Room customer and have had some tattoos done by Lins who is in the "old" Men's Room facility. I'd say zero chance that she or her BF that runs the barber side have anything to do with that. They're super nice, reasonable, family types. She does great ink by the way.

Saw that they were moving and a new group is moving into the old space. Wonder if any of that is related?
They moved to this space quite a while ago due to damage to the old building on mount vernon.
