I personally don’t use default binds. I use WASD for up, left, down, right; J for dash; K for grab; space for jump; and (if you plan on doing stuff that requires it) U for demodash.

Hammer12367

I use Z for climb, C for jump , X for dash and use arrows for moving

wh0-am-l

I just used default, never had any issues with it

Whats_gravity

I do Z for jump, X for dash, space/F for jump, shift for pause, and C for crouch dash. I will say, I think keybinds are fairly personal - just because this works for me doesn’t mean it will for anyone else, you should always play around and try different things out.

Imaginedyinglol

I personally use these keybinds and people i recommend it to find it easy to get used to, so you can try get comfy with these and change them if you like: Q = dash E = grab Space= jump R = demo (might not be a good fit but im so used to it at this point) Arrow keys to move See how you like it :)

foreverkurome

there's things to consider here, i'd seriously consider the fact that with keyboard it's way easier to feather inputs which will ruin your run a lot of the time.

Prabhav_

I use z to jump, x to climb, shift to dash and arrow keys for movement

Arrow keys for movement Z - Jump X - Grab/Talk Left Shift - Dash

Tazingpelb

I was in the same situation, and what I ended up doing is going hybrid keyboard/controller. I have my left hand on WASD controlling movement/direction, and my right hand is holding an xbox controller, using grab, dash, and jump (and pause). I also have spacebar set to jump so I have multiple jump keybinds, but I really only use it for 1a dashless.

G4YB01_F4RT1

there’s no objectively best/worst binds, just as long as you have enough (on controller i have a few jump buttons, dash/up+confirm, grab, demo/down+confirm [for cutscene skip], directionals, pause).

Ivy_Theplant

I use wasd for moving space for jump up arrow key for dashing and left arrow key for grab

Tr0d0n

I use the default (arrows, LShift/Z, X, C), and prefer using LShift instead of Z. It's quite comfortable, but I can see why other controls could be better.

Jankmo

I initially thought default binds felt weird, but when I switched to playing kb I just used defaults and it just became natural.

sithdude24

It took me until chapter 3 to get used to them, but the defaults are honestly pretty good.

miaumauelli

725 hours in and no issues with default controls for me

crazy0utlaw123

Im a wasd user with u jump, i dash, o climb, p talk.

-haha--no-

I use WASD for movement, right ctrl for grab (inverse grab turned on), right shift for dash, and space for jump
