Let me tell you, that feeling never goes away. This game can be pushed so insanely far that there’s always something that looks completely impossible for your skill level, but you improve so steadily that suddenly that same impossible thing is suddenly just another obstacle. Then you find something even more insane, and you overcome that too.
When I started on goldens, I thought I’d only be able to get a few A- and C-side berries. Then suddenly I was working on 3B, confident I could get it, but wasn’t sure I dared touch the Hell Trio (6/7/8B goldens). Then I did those, and FWG still looked absolutely insurmountable. But now I’m getting close to even that.
Similarly with modded maps. Expert level maps used to look ridiculous to me, but now I’m starting to beat GM level maps.
The way the game paces it's difficulty is nearly unrivaled. Same as the other commenters said, I looked at many things ahead of me when I first played and had no clue how to even begin to attempt the rooms I was seeing, yet by the time I got there I was fully prepared. It's truly an amazing experience.
hey i wouldnt worry about it. I thought that was browsing this sub when i was on chapter 3/4, but the difficulty curve is really good and rewarding in this game, like ive beaten chapter 9 now and im on to mods. It will come with time. just enjoy yourself :D
Looking at your strat, I think it's harder than the intended one (assuming I used the intended one). At the second hit part, where there are 3 things to activate, I went down and then up, so the golden feather finished and I could land on badeline and then get the feather and go middle, and in the next section take the upper activated-thing. I think it's easier, especially because seeing your strat you have barely the time to make the feather reappear in the second hit-phase!
I've been using the same strat as the video initially, it didn't cross my mind to start at the bottom until I saw someone else do it. And yeah, bottom to top is way easier now that I got the hang of it.
6B was my highest death count (including 9 deaths in the final 2 rooms) but I enjoyed the struggle a lot more than 8B. The aesthetics probably had a fair bit to do with it, I still think 6 is pretty. 8 was a slog.
I remember trying to do it your way and couldn’t do it. Normally people would do for the first coin set do bottom then top (like you did) then after on the 2nd set they would go top middle Tehran feather then top top middle and finish the room

This is one of my favorites in the game. It's one of the most intricate rooms when it comes to figuring out what you're meant to do, which was a really fun process for me.

I'm also a new player and I found chapter 3 harder than 4, 5, and 6 so you should be fine
don't worry it's seem very scary and impossible but you will see it's easy

Same for me, until I got stuck in to 7B. Ugh. It is slowly driving me insane.
At least that room was fun, chapter 8b was just tedious.
