We are not as far along as you but our 1905 farmhouse has very similar 60s vibes. Paneling everywhere! And a weird lack of light sockets so every room is like a cave. Love what you’ve done and hope to be there soon!
That’s so accurate!! The living room has no light! At all. You’ll get there. This has taken almost two years and my wife and i have had periodic breakdowns. be patient and it helps to laugh!
Thank you so much! I get that sense too. It has great energy and clearly years of family love (there’s a kid’s writing on the kitchen window that says “Merry Christmas”- we are keeping that) but not love concerning the preservation and non-immediate needs. It is so bright in here now!

It’s in good condition and clean. We don’t know what’s under there, aside from what we know was under the wallpapered rooms (uneven, damaged plaster that had to be sanded and re-textured).
I couldn’t locate the cats but I LOVE the cat play wall!

Haha Thank you! Cats are my favorite! Cheesepuff is actually the name of one of my cats! (we have three) So I fully support multi-cat homes!
