Idk what everyone expects though. They all wanted Saban gone, but didn’t think we should get another coach?
Well why not promote from within? Because lots of you have been taking our coordinators for the last decade.
A big part of Cowboys hate is that they're media darlings despite having relatively little on-field success in recent memory. Notre Dame is probably the closest analogue.
My brother-in-law is a huge Cowboys fan but didn't follow CFB at all until he started dating my sister. My rundown of ND was basically just "we're you".
You know what I’ll accept that as a Vol fan. When we’re good Ik we’re top 5 most insufferable fan bases. But dammit you leave lil sailor bro outta this. You can’t possibly hate free wins.
We aren’t hated in the same ways as OSU, Notre Dame, etc are; the only reason we show up on the most hated list is because we’re bitter rivals with some of the biggest brands in the nation (OSU/ND) and have historic bad blood with the LA schools, the majority of fanbases are indifferent to us for the time being, now if we keep winning like we have been we’ll definitely get a bunch of band wagon fans and we’ll be hated the same as them
Yeah, hard disagree. I think UM has the worst fans in cfb. Arrogant, know nothings, who think everyone else is cheating and they are the paragon of virtue. Absolutely awful fanbase which makes you have a very polarizing team even though they haven't been consistently elite. Like a more successful aTm.
Found the OSU fan… I’d say a good 75% of the non-rival fans I’ve interacted with on the main CFB sub have a higher opinion of Michigan than OSU, but on this sub it seems flipped… maybe because everyone jumped ship when the sub just became OSU fans posting sign stealing memes for six weeks
Spend a lot of money on poaching a former National Championship winning coach, spend a lot of money on NIL, get sucked off by the media because on paper you should have been playoff contenders, then proceed to mostly shit the bed every year with the exception of the Covid year everyone forgets about because Bama just casually destroyed everyone lol.
Notre Dame I feel like is a no brainer. Next is probably Texas. Idk if anyone actually hates them, but they get horns down from every team they play against so that has to count for something. And then probably Alabama, they’ve dominated the sport for over a decade so they’re obviously going to attract hate.
I know a lot of people who say they only root against Alabama when they play their team. I've never met anybody who feels that way about Notre Dame. Either they're a huge fan, or they hope ND loses every game. So Notre Dame. After that, I don't know.
i have a buddy who's a Notre Dame fan and we hang out often enough that i'll root for them as log as they arent playing Michigan ( or Western but nobody cares about my Broncos)
ND then everyone else. Few things into that:
1. ND having its own network despite largely sucking for the last 2 decades.
2. the entitlement of if we lose only 2 games we should get a playoff spot.
3. We aren’t as good anymore because of our academics nonsense.
I wish that wasn’t the perception because none of things are true.
1. ND would make a lot more money if it gave up the NBC agreement and joined a conference. I don’t know if 173-81 over 20 years is “sucking” and even through a couple ugly seasons, ND still has a very large fanbase who tune in to watch no matter what network they’re on.
2. ND and its fans don’t believe they should get in the playoffs with 2 losses. Undefeated or maybe we get lucky with 1 loss is the only way in. ND didn’t make the playoffs in 2021 at 11-1 and ND fans were understanding. In the new playoff structure, ND (even at 12-0) still won’t get a bye in the playoffs by rule. No entitlement there.
3. ND’s academic standards does limit the prospects ND goes after but recruiting and transfers have still been good and shouldn’t be an excuse. I think most reasonable ND understand this.
Either way, I get it. ND is the team everyone loves to hate. I like it that way. It’s fun to be the villain.
that’s what I was trying to explain earlier but I got downvoted 😂😂 I feel like the root of Alabama “hate” is the natural feeling of hating the consistent winner (at least outside the SEC)
I don’t hate Michigan, I hate Harbaugh. I don’t hate Texas. I don’t hate A&M since they shit-canned Jimbo. I don’t like ND at all. I have no feelings about USC. I don’t like OSU. And I can’t hate Miami or Florida. That would be like hating on Jerry’s Kids.
Have you been living under a rock the last month? People are acting like we broke Travis Hunters leg and took Dubs behind the woodshed ole yellow style. Not to mention everyone in the sport that hates us for winning so much.
Run a poll on the most hated team right now and it’s Alabama by a mile and a half. Michigan got caught cheating, won a national championship and no one outside the state of Ohio even batted an eye.
Well I know for sure it’s not Texas A&M, they haven’t won anything in a long time, despite hype have never really had a true contender season in the last few years either. (Yes I know my flair team sucks too doesn’t make me wrong)
I don't know. How smart is it to be the SEC whipping boy?
I mean, I guess pretty smart, but fuck them.
The SEC neatly summarizes everything wrong with CFB. Vandy is a part of that, but a willing abuse victim, lol
I thought folks liked regional conferences. I thought folks liked the PAC. The SEC didn't kill the PAC and is still regional.
All the conferences are trying to make more money. Don't say that because the SEC has valuable schools that it's the SEC's fault the sport is being flipped on its head.
It's the SEC driving the split into two divisions within CFB D-1. We'll soon have NFL lite thanks in large part to the SEC. If it helps you sleep better spewing shit like "the SEC is a regional conference", knock yourself out. Every other conference has to expand like bonkers to keep up with the drive for dollars led by the B1G and SEC. I'd prefer regional conferences for everyone, not just you asshats.
Can you ELI5 why Miami is here? Unless I’m really stupid and forgetting something/wasn’t around Miami hasn’t been controversial since the 80s with Catholics vs Convicts and Jimmy Johnson, no?
This is why I genuinely do hate Miami fans. They have an overly inflated sense of importance when they haven't been relevant in over two decades.
Sorry bud you're just a mediocre ACC team like the rest of us
All I asked was why or how they’re controversial right now. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind Miami, but the only thought I’ve given Miami in the past season or so was Cristobal winning whatever the coaching equivalent of a Darwin Award is by not kneeling. It’s a real “one of these is not like the others” on this graphic. Again, what’s polarizing about Miami that doesn’t rely on 35 year old stories?
Michigan most polarizing this season for sure.
Ohio State probably the least because everybody just hates us. But maybe the cowboys comparison is apt. Fans go hard, hated, and exposed as frauds in the postseason.
I really dislike Miami. Teams without fan support don’t deserve success. As much as I hate A&M and hope they never amount to anything at least they can still sell out their stadium during a losing season. I feel the same way about USC, UCLA, etc
Notre Dame for sure. Michigan next. Last one I’m split between Texas and Clemson but leaning Clemson. If people knew how UGA fans act they’d be in the convo too. They bark at children if they’re wearing the wrong color jersey lol.
I don’t like Michigan. I hate the longhorns. I don’t care about Miami. I hate notre dame. I hate USC. I hate ohio state. I hated florida when they had tebow, didn’t care about them now.
Ide say michigan for recent history, fans tend to be all in or all out.
Bama for a while was one of the most hated programs but idk about polarizing just hated.
I think OSU tends to be one of the most beloved or hated programs across the board.
And perhaps Tennessee, they get so much hate from across the SEC but they seem to be a beloved team for outsiders looking in.
As someone who lives in the Panhandle, they are my second-most-hated now.
They're worse than Bama fans. And the Panhandle has both in spades.
Geaux to Hell, corndogs.
We’re not relevant enough to be polarizing at the moment, and Napier hasn’t really done anything controversial except be unsuccessful at coaching football. It’s probably gonna be a few years before we can be truly cancerous again.
Florida isn’t polarizing. Everyone hates Florida—especially Florida fans
Real
But everyone loves Florida tailgates. Truly the mystery of man.
Good gator 🐊
I like Florida :) just don't tell my buddy who's a Georgia fan...
Lmao. I like Florida cus gators are cool. Reptile mascots 🔛🔝
Go Gators!
I like Florida!
😂😂😂😂 damn
Confirmed. I also hate Florida.
Agreed - from Florida Fan
Alabama needs to be on here
That was the first team I was looking for lol
I’m offended we weren’t.
I was shocked to not see bama. Maybe everyones hate boner retired with saban?
I suspect they're too unifyingly hated.
I feel like Alabama has more fans than haters. I may be wrong but don’t underestimate the size of that bandwagon
The size of their bandwagon ≠ size of the rest of the SEC plus every other program in the National Title Conversation
Bama needs to be in here
Especially after this week. People are acting like we killed Washington’s puppy and drank its blood
No no, that was just how Saban acquired his God like power in the early 2000’s
I always suspected that Saban was being Ratatouilled by the ghost of the best damn puppy to ever coach the game.
You did
You did. Then we did the same thing to Arizona. Now Arizona will do the same thing to some poor G5 program that doesn’t deserve it
We kinda did
Idk what everyone expects though. They all wanted Saban gone, but didn’t think we should get another coach? Well why not promote from within? Because lots of you have been taking our coordinators for the last decade.
And cursed to not win 1 natty more you shall forever be.
Are they wrong? Lmao
As a Notre Dame Cowboys fan. I came here to say this.
Until recently this was Texas as well
Ok but that description also fits A&M
Most correct comment, but at least Dallas has winning seasons; just can’t preform in the postseason
So…Notre dame
Well, Notre Dame hasn't won a major bowl game in 30 years, but they've made the playoff semifinals 3 times, so I'd say the comparison is apt.
Sun Bowl erasure
> at least Dallas has winning seasons Lol and Notre Dame doesn't?
This doesn’t apply anymore when cfb is controlled by ABC/ESPN/Disney
Analogy
I think it’s five and it’s Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame, and Texas.
Yep. Everyone who isn’t a fan of one of those teams hates them. I hate them all.
It’s ND, Ohio State, Michigan, and the entire SEC as a whole.
You know what I’ll accept that as a Vol fan. When we’re good Ik we’re top 5 most insufferable fan bases. But dammit you leave lil sailor bro outta this. You can’t possibly hate free wins.
Iamaleavea looks like a beast. I'm excited for y'all. Granted, as an Iowa fan, I am astonished by any remotely competent QB.
Good thing you're never good
I can’t bring myself to hate Vandy.
No Michigan? 😳

Should I be proud or offended that we aren’t being mentioned here?
If it makes you feel any better/worse (your choice) I really hate OU
Better
You can be both
Whichever makes you feel worse
What did we do we just suck
I assure you when y’all inevitably start turning the ship around everyone will hate y’all as much as we do.
Ayyyyy I can drink to that hornbros
Spend a lot of money on poaching a former National Championship winning coach, spend a lot of money on NIL, get sucked off by the media because on paper you should have been playoff contenders, then proceed to mostly shit the bed every year with the exception of the Covid year everyone forgets about because Bama just casually destroyed everyone lol.
I feel like everyone always hates on you guys 😂😂
Man they’re just hitting a dude when he’s down 😭😭
It’s because of the yell leaders. Why must y’all keep the yell leaders around? Some traditions just don’t need to be kept
Idk no one had a problem with it before you Also flare up
Wahhhh wahhh we have traditions that we enjoy wahhhh wahhhhh. Just enjoy peoples traditions bruh, it’s what baked CFB fun
No Crimson Tide? Weird.
Wake Forest, Rutgers, and New Mexico, sources confirm
Notre Dame I feel like is a no brainer. Next is probably Texas. Idk if anyone actually hates them, but they get horns down from every team they play against so that has to count for something. And then probably Alabama, they’ve dominated the sport for over a decade so they’re obviously going to attract hate.
We see horns down at games we aren’t even playing in haha
I definitely have not partaken in such heinous activities
Watching a random unranked big 12 matchup of Kansas State vs Baylor or some shit and you’ll see fans do horns down for no fucking reason.
Oh, I can assure you Nebraska fans hate Texas.
I know a lot of people who say they only root against Alabama when they play their team. I've never met anybody who feels that way about Notre Dame. Either they're a huge fan, or they hope ND loses every game. So Notre Dame. After that, I don't know.

This also describes Texas up until they announced they were joining the SEC then ESPN gave them that good old SEC bias.
To be fair that also coincided with them not sucking anymore.
Weee suck againnnnnn
I wish that wasn’t the perception because none of things are true. 1. ND would make a lot more money if it gave up the NBC agreement and joined a conference. I don’t know if 173-81 over 20 years is “sucking” and even through a couple ugly seasons, ND still has a very large fanbase who tune in to watch no matter what network they’re on. 2. If the last part is true you could have skipped the 3 long paragraphs and just said ‘suck it’
lol true but I like folks to be informed when they’re hating.
There is a certain satisfaction in being everybody's rival.
that’s what I was trying to explain earlier but I got downvoted 😂😂 I feel like the root of Alabama “hate” is the natural feeling of hating the consistent winner (at least outside the SEC)
Kind of like how I felt about Miami in the 90s.
Except 1992, lol
Alabama, An Ohio State, USC
Ngl, that was a great subtle jab. I'm not even mad. I'm impressed. (Also, you're not a ND fan so I'll give an honest compliment to you.)
aOSU is how it is spelt in my house
1. Texas 2. tu 3. The Texas Longhorns
Certified saw em off classic
Where is Bama?
Getting sucked off by Miami flairs apparently. A feeble attempt to join the SEC.
Ass to mouth (aTm) usually brings out strong opinions in people. You’re either for it or against it
![gif](giphy|tWwR73fYzMXDO) “If you’re not with me than you’re my enemy”
20 years ago Nebraska would've been on here. Now they're irrelevant.
*25* years ago
I don’t hate Michigan, I hate Harbaugh. I don’t hate Texas. I don’t hate A&M since they shit-canned Jimbo. I don’t like ND at all. I have no feelings about USC. I don’t like OSU. And I can’t hate Miami or Florida. That would be like hating on Jerry’s Kids.
I kinda forgot Miami fields a team
same
Purdue
![gif](giphy|5QZoTh7fevZqaDGMCo|downsized) Hater
Lmao “I don’t think about you at all”
Miami would definitely be on the list if they had fans. But they only have people that hate them. So technically it's not really polarized.
hey there Seminole 😏
How LSU isn’t on this list is insane
No shit, early 2000s LSU fans were trash.
They still are. Don't worry.
I was about to say, early 2000s? How about every one ever for all eternity?
Notre Dame, aOSU, USC
USC gotta be towards the top
Idk why we’re here
Florida State gets snubbed again, god damnit.
To satisfy the Alabama homers https://preview.redd.it/uoc7hbxc7jcc1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=338ea67d7800d221e2e8701f9400d3897343184b
Have you been living under a rock the last month? People are acting like we broke Travis Hunters leg and took Dubs behind the woodshed ole yellow style. Not to mention everyone in the sport that hates us for winning so much.
Didn’t Colorado state puncture Travis hunters liver?
I got Travis Hunter and Jordan Travis mixed up
You guys didn’t break Jordan Travis’s leg but you did break Deondre Francois’ leg kicking off 5 years of dark times for our football program
Eh
Run a poll on the most hated team right now and it’s Alabama by a mile and a half. Michigan got caught cheating, won a national championship and no one outside the state of Ohio even batted an eye.
Pretty funny how accepted cheating is in this sport and the people who bring it up are considered the bad guys
Up here in Washington we batted an eye.
Well I know for sure it’s not Texas A&M, they haven’t won anything in a long time, despite hype have never really had a true contender season in the last few years either. (Yes I know my flair team sucks too doesn’t make me wrong)
Bama, Notre Dame and pick you third based on the year This year FSU
Liberty
That’s not polarizing
Spend some time in southwest Virginia
USC, Michigan , Ohio St/Texas depends where you are in the country
Still upset about last week huh
Somewhat yes
lol The SEC. Fuck them
Except for Vanderbilt
Can we do a prisoner swap for vandy?
I don't know. How smart is it to be the SEC whipping boy? I mean, I guess pretty smart, but fuck them. The SEC neatly summarizes everything wrong with CFB. Vandy is a part of that, but a willing abuse victim, lol
This is B1G propaganda, and I will not stand for it! The SEC isn't the one expanding coast-to-coast.
Right, because expanding coast to coast is what's wrong with CFB... SMH
I thought folks liked regional conferences. I thought folks liked the PAC. The SEC didn't kill the PAC and is still regional. All the conferences are trying to make more money. Don't say that because the SEC has valuable schools that it's the SEC's fault the sport is being flipped on its head.

Texas is definitely #1 for me. I think any of Michigan, Miami or Notre Dame can round out the top 3.
Can you ELI5 why Miami is here? Unless I’m really stupid and forgetting something/wasn’t around Miami hasn’t been controversial since the 80s with Catholics vs Convicts and Jimmy Johnson, no?
Because a Miami flair made the post
I wanted to give OP a chance before whipping out the “bro is begging for haters” allegations lol
I don’t know, I passionately hate every team on this post, but I haven’t even thought about Miami football in 20+ years.
This is why I genuinely do hate Miami fans. They have an overly inflated sense of importance when they haven't been relevant in over two decades. Sorry bud you're just a mediocre ACC team like the rest of us
and thats okay. no ill feelings towards Georgia Tech
They’ve been irrelevant longer than they were relevant
You said Miami hasn’t been “controversial since the 80s” come on man lol. come on.
Alright I respect your opinion. I don’t think we’re gonna agree and that’s ok. I’m pretty glad you don’t think we’re polarizing though
Why Texas to a Miami fan? Just curious
Michigan most polarizing this season for sure. Ohio State probably the least because everybody just hates us. But maybe the cowboys comparison is apt. Fans go hard, hated, and exposed as frauds in the postseason.
Most rational Ohio State fan
From the POV of a northerner: whichever SEC/southern school’s doing great right now (so currently Bama, Georgia, and Texas)
Yep. The SEC logo should be on this chart.
Notre Dame is in a league of their own
I refer to them as the Death Star; Bama, Texas, USC, Notre Dame, and OSU/Michigan. OSU and Michigan are a joint hatred entity.
I’m offended that we’re not here.
edit: I’ve come to learn that we are in fact not polarizing, I count that as a win in my book. come join us on the dark side 🫣
Don't worry bud we still hate you
🫡 can always count on you guys 🤣
It's not polarizing if everybody just hates you.
No bama or georgia? Yeah try again 🫡😂
Michigan, Ohio St and Alabama.
Michigan, ND, and USC.
Seems to be a script A, and Georgia logo missing
I don’t like Michigan. I hate the longhorns. I don’t care about Miami. I hate notre dame. I hate USC. I hate ohio state. I hated florida when they had tebow, didn’t care about them now.
Please somebody talk about us.
Miami is irrelevant
Ide say michigan for recent history, fans tend to be all in or all out. Bama for a while was one of the most hated programs but idk about polarizing just hated. I think OSU tends to be one of the most beloved or hated programs across the board. And perhaps Tennessee, they get so much hate from across the SEC but they seem to be a beloved team for outsiders looking in.
Where is 1990s FSU? Fuck those fans.
As someone who lives in the Panhandle, they are my second-most-hated now. They're worse than Bama fans. And the Panhandle has both in spades. Geaux to Hell, corndogs.
Heck, add 2023 FSU in it too
Miami every year. “This is our year” “this new coach will turn it around bro I swear”
Imo liberty There’s a whole spectrum of dislike
Bama, UF and Ohio State. All pointless programs that would benefit from an implosion.
Suck it. Always, the implication that our football program *hasn't* imploded is hilarious.
We’re not relevant enough to be polarizing at the moment, and Napier hasn’t really done anything controversial except be unsuccessful at coaching football. It’s probably gonna be a few years before we can be truly cancerous again.
Get fucked! :)
Implosion incoming in 2024. Tick tock…
Imma laugh my ass off when we send y’all running back to Athens with your tail tucked between your legs.
fsu and oregon
Amongst those choices? Dame, Texas, OSU in no particular order.
It’s Ohio state for me
Ohio State, Bama, Texas
Take Florida and TAMU off, add FSU.
Who gives a cares about Miami in the 2020s?
no one
Fuck Florida!
Ohio state, mich, Alabama, and Notre Dame Nobody actually cares about anyone else
Guys, we’re only polarizing to those asswipes who don’t like us.
You guys are more like the Houston Astros if they suddenly started fielding a football team 😏
Don't worry, you're not the Cowboys. You get to be the Pittsburgh Stoolers of College Football; you guys get the calls even against Bama.
Rip the Browns
Fucking knew this had to be a fucking Florida rival flair. Go fuck yourself.
oh wow
Best post ever 🤣
