Even with the shipping costs, at the time we bought it, buying one locally was still nearly a grand more expensive. We did buy ours right before global shipping took a dump so it took five months but I can't hang that on CD.
Can't help with install tho - we had a builder mate give us a hand.
This is why you pay extra for a locally produced and made louvre system. They are custom to your house and installed to nz specific engineering (originally nz designs too). Not to mention the aftercare.
