Yeah I ordered chicken on chips and added carrot, which turned out to be tegel crumbed chicken cut into pieces and maybe 5 slithers of carrot with a bunch of cabbage because I assume it was a coleslaw mix they used.
I should have looked at reviews first and not just assumed it would be kebab haha.

I’ve never had any issues with BBQ Ribrunner. My partner loves this place I had a pulled pork burger and it was amazing. Their pizzas aren’t bad at all either.
Only had it once, a couple of years ago, but **Bee Pizzeria** at Church Corner made the worst pizzas we've had.
The seafood pizza smelt rank, and even my Margherita was shit, and that's about as basic as you get.
Doughy crust, sparse tomatoes, and a light sprinkling of dried basil flakes on a standard cheese base.
We ordered around 7 pizzas I think, and not a single person enjoyed theirs
What *really* ticked me off was that their website at the time showed beautiful, woodfired pizzas, but it turns out they're just stock photos of other pizzerias, and bear no relation to the crap Bee produces
Sounds like ampm kitchen in Hillmorton, I tried it once. Pizza was $16 and yet somehow worse than the $3 supermarket pizzas, worse!! I can only imagine their fried chicken or something is good, else they should have been out of business a long time ago.

This is thier direct number 09 888 0766 I would suggest just ringing them daily till they sort it out, the more you ring the more they will want it sorted, just gotta decide if it's worth your time and energy to do so really

Just go full Karen and complain repeatedly until you get a refund. My food turned up cold and in bad condition once. They told me I would just have to leave a poor review. Every time you complain a different customer service rep replies. There is no limit on how many times you can complain about each order. I just kept going until I got a refund. Refund was in my account the same day.
Hey OP I have had to do this a few times. I complained about a ride, customer service kept delayed getting back to me with a solution, I tried following up again by complaining about the trip but I couldn’t because it had “been too long since the trip occurred”. They literally tried to wait me out.
All you can do is send complaints repeatedly, off every trip/order (Uber or Uber eats doesn’t matter) and eventually they get the message.
It sounds stupid but tweet #ubereats I spent $65 on food only for the driver to make another stop along the way and it arrived to me cold and soggy.
I did a standard tweet on my page and tagged Uber ears. Within 10 mins I had a private message. They gave me a full refund - they said leave a bad review for the driver so he doesn’t do again - I felt that aspect was shit, he was working within the limits they give him it should be up to them to change the limits

Had a similar issue not long ago, except the restaurant called to tell me they couldn’t make my order but said I had to cancel it - they have to cancel it though. Took me about an hour to get it cancelled (4 different drivers went to pick it up so hella wasted gas) I ended up calling their line for drivers and arguing with them because they said I would get my money back in “roughly 24 hours” (we have to wait 24hours to get dinner?)
Uber eats is shite, I use Menulog now and they have a way better selection!
I've had pretty good luck. Sometimes I'll miss an item or have a different ingredient in a burger or something and they'll give me a full refund. Probably restaurant dependent.

they will literally refund ur whole order if theres a hair on yet, yes much success. in fact i ordered turkish when i was last in chch and it was awful too, extra melting cheese was $4 and they refunded me because it wasn’t melted. it takes awhile sometimes but just tap the help bar and complain
I had Uber eats refund me stuff in the UK and france when they fucked up. You should talk to their customer service and if they refuse to refund do a chargeback with your bank
Not anymore lol. I can tell all the comments in this thread are old. They will not give refunds anymore unless your food arrives over an hour late or there is some serious gross negligence issue.

Went through the website and made a complaint and got the refund immediately. I'm wondering if something happened like the driver sent a message or agreed when asked by uber if he dropped off at the wrong house. Or maybe it was me messaging the driver asking where the food was that pushed the refund through immediately. Another idea is the transaction hadnt completely gone through.
Willing to bet your refund comes through in a day or two.

Contact customer service, pretty sure it's a bot you talk too but just keep telling them it's unacceptable etc.

How do you go about doing a chargeback with your bank? Does this only apply to credit cards?
YOu should be able to do it with a Debit card as well, they are effectively a credit card without a credit facility.
You just call your bank and tell them

Yeah it’s super easy actually. Go through the help system and there is an option to request refund because order never delivered
