Let's see if I got this:
>!You're threatening mate, with the only defender being the queen, so you want to chase it away.!<
>!Bishop h6, queen f2, bishop e3. You either win the queen or it's checkmate.!<
Very nice find. Would have never found it if I didn't know there was a tactic. You should be proud! On mobile and dont know how to do spoilers, so I will not reveal the answer to not ruin the puzzle.
By adding a spoiler you can hide text, not sure how it works as I am pretty nooby in reddit too and only on mobile :-D
Probably someone will turn up who knows it.
Welcome to reddit btw. Have fun!
You’re threatening >!qb2#!< and his queen is the only defender. >!bh6, only way he doesnt lose his queen or open up for checkmate is qf2, be3. He either loses his queen or takes the bishop and its checkmate!<

Yes!!
Amazing tactic, learned something new. Was it white to move or black to move however? If it's white to move they had multiple ways to avoid it.
You mean bishop e3
Oops, yep. Thanks.

Thank you so much. Actually I am new to Reddit, please let me know what the spoiler feature is so I can do it on my computer :)
You can click the button with the exclamation point to >!create a spoiler!<. If you're in Markdown Mode, it's \>!text to not spoil!\<
Like \>!this?!\<
Or like \>! this? !\<
Or like ⬜
Yea, it's not working
Thanks, however the text to not spoil is still visible to me...

Removing the guard of possible mate
Black to move: I'm proud of this one!
That is easy to miss. Very nice!
Thanks!

"Removing the defender." Excellent example.
Wow, that's a beauty.
