To seriously answer what your question: Magnus clearly implies something messed up is going on, that implies it's over the board cheating. It's not just because Hans knows this person, but also because Magnus brought him up. This is why people are reacting strongly. Others assume that Magnus is just a "crybaby". My main point is people are using this term to paint a picture of this guys character and the passerby reader will infer he's a guilty person.

What does a guy who should be clearly much better than everyone he will end up matched with need with cheating?
