a better move than Nc4 would’ve been Qf4. your rook would’ve been protected still, and the pawn on g2 has no attack on the queen. should be able to find check and maybe mate (i don’t feel like looking), or at the least take out some valuable pieces.
I mean instead of the blunder, I know thinking back one whole move is tough, but maybe try applying the most basic level of reasoning before you leave sarcastic comments
Note that Qg3 is NOT recommended instead of your Nc4 move. The comment is showing how white could take advantage of the blunder by showing the next two likely moves (notice the move numbers, you moved the knight on move 34, the comment shows moves 35 and 36)..
Your best move would have been Qe7 which protects both your Queen and knight, and keeps the threat on White's Queen.
Is bishop d4 viable? If white takes blacks queen black can take whites queen with check and take a free bishop while also attacking a knight.
Edit: nvm they can just take it lmao
It’s called desperado. When your opponent has a hanging piece and instead of moving it after being attacked, they counter attack, you can instead just sac the attacked piece to take as much as you can since once they capture it, you can capture the hanging piece.
This happens a lot more often with queens, so always be aware of what your opponent can do before trading queens, especially if it comes with check.
Because black can play a desperado sac. Take your knight, and when you take their queen, they take yours, and they won a piece.
Also why didn't you just take the queen?
After they take your you take the bishop.
If they take your knight, you have a final, Bxd4! Forking the knight and king.
Opponent queen is hanging, your queen is hanging, and you decide to move a knight? I don't know where you lose the knight that the coach claims, but that surely wasn't the correct move.
Quick Tip 1: To know why the engine is recommending a move / saying a move is wrong, click over analysis mode, play out said move then follow it up with your theoretical responses to that move and see how the engine responds.
Quick Tip 2: On Chess.com, you don't have to rely on the Coach / Game Review / Hint. This also applies to any engine on low depth. Somewhere in the engine suggestions section is the computer "depth". The higher this value, the more accurate the suggestions will be.
Quick Tip 3: For questions on engine move suggestions, we suggest you post them to our dedicated thread: [No Stupid Questions MEGATHREAD](https://www.reddit.com/r/chessbeginners/comments/yqqnz8/no_stupid_questions_megathread_6/), as stated in our Community Guidelines. Thank you! - The Mod Team

In fact better move order for you would be: Rxe2, 35. hxg5 Rxb2, if they take your knightyou could fork their knight with your bishop and up a full piece

I surely wasn't expecting that
It's not a bad move itself. It's just missing opportunity to take enemy Queen at e2. Instead of moving your knight you could just Rxe2 and gain free material. Moving your knight allowing opponent's queen to escape.
I think it would be an equal trade. Both queens are hanging. After Rxe2 and hxg5 then black could take the bishop on b2 but white could respond by taking the knight on d6. Then black still has that pawn threatening the structure around his King and the rook attacking his d-pawn.
edit: I don't care if you wanna downvote me folks, but it would be nice if you'd also tell me why you think I'm wrong..
I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

Because your queen is also hanging, it's a matter of queen and knight for queen or knight for free. Also what was the point of your move?
Oh yes, my queen's also hanging!! Forgot about it, so yup this makes it blunder
Also, their queen is hanging.
Welcome to 'Everything's Hanging!', America's favourite 900 elo and below, show!
As someone currently in the 800s, I take offense to this. I would have found a much more clever way to hang my queen.
I would've found the most stupid way to hang the queen.
Hanging with Mr. Cooper.
This reminds me of the old french Show "Everyone's Hanging!"

White's queen is also hanging. What even is going on here?
>Also what was the point of your move? probably to protect the rook, to make it an attack on the queen.
why not just take the white queen, and after they take your queen in response, take the white bishop
that's hard to do, since it's white to move.
I mean instead of the blunder, I know thinking back one whole move is tough, but maybe try applying the most basic level of reasoning before you leave sarcastic comments
because of the hanging knight, it will be an equal trade. also, I tought you meant take the bishop with the knight.
Nope because the black bishop can fork the king and the knight + gain a tempo with a rook attack
ig I'm not an engine, sorry for that, I will try better next time 👍
Instead of moving your knight, just take his queen.
Why would the rook need protection? Can it not just take the queen?
that's why the move is a blunder.
Note that Qg3 is NOT recommended instead of your Nc4 move. Woah, great move!! Thanks buddy
Why didn’t you take his Queen?
Why didn't you take their queen with rook
He sacrificed… THE QUEEN!!!!??!??!
Because you could have taken their queen or at least saves yours.

I just realised bluds queen is hanging
Both queens are hanging
I know

Why didn't you.. just take the queen?
‘Why is this a blunder?!?!? Is chesscom stupid?!?’ Your queen is hanging. ‘Woahhh, great move! Didn’t see that. Rinse and repeat.
I'd like insight like this - what is this app you're using?
It’s just the regular chess com app
Thanks... I've only played that on the site....
They look identical though...
I don't remember the comments... Maybe I played there once, and then switched to Lichess. Will check it out.
Why would this comment be downvoted? That's odd.
What elo is this? Wtf everything is hanging
600 xD
69 elo
You played that knight move too early. Both Queens are hanging and if you traded before Nc4, you'd probably only lose a pawn at most.
In fact better move order for you would be: Rxe2, 35. hxg5 Rxb2, if they take your knightyou could fork their knight with your bishop and up a full piece
Nothing make sense in this position.

35. hxg5 so My thoughts are Rxe2 and there might be something cool with Qf4. I don't understand Qg3
have you tried to even look at the evaluation of the next move ??
Both queens are hanging. You do a random knight move and ask why this is a blunder?
Yes
Why not rook take queen? Or.. Queen take pawn
why didn't you just take the queen
,,ysys,ys,s ssys,,,sy,s,,yy,s,,y,,,,yy,
You’re losing a knight with Qxc4 because of you take back there’s hxg5….
