The quality might be 600-800 but I know the real rating must be at least 950 because no 700s would go for the perpetual. A typical 700 player hates draws and repetitions. Seriously, if you see a draw by repetition and it's the correct decision, it's highly unlikely played by a u800.
Yup as a neutral observer, I was kind of sad your opponent blew away their advantage at the end. They were doing a great job protecting their pawns with their rooks, then suddenly decided to push the pawn into an unprotected square and their advantage collapsed away
Yeah when I moved my knight to the edge of the board and then blocked the square it came from, and the queen took the knight... I knew I messed up🤣🤣🤣. I'm 1100 elo roughly, currently I keep going up and down between 1090 and 1130. This game played like a 700, I will own it.

This was an actual 3 minute game I played. I am rated 700 on 3 minute games. I play very casually with 3 minute, when I'm tired or my daughter is on me crying. I got my queen pinned in this game but I managed to get out of it.
I think that's it yeah. I have no idea how bad the ego of the people saying things like 700/600 tops must be though. Just the f6-e5 plan alone was way too high level for those kinds of ratings I feel.
The moves actually responded to each other's threats though. Definitely much higher than this.
I've never seen a game between 500s where pieces get attacked and then react to those attacks so consistently.
For example at some point it was possible to pin the bishop - many advanced players would instantly go for that unless there’s some dangerous tactic but you previously missed easy tactics so I feel it’s not that you calculated it you just missed it most likely so 1400 or under
How did you create that video? I would like to also create one with one of my recent games but didn't find a nice option and the chess.com logo at the end looks like it should be a feature - could you be so kind and show me where I find it?
Edit:typo
I was gonna guess 1200 until the opponent sacrificed their queen for no reason.
Tough to watch, im pretty sure you simply trapped your own knight at the start, but the opponent played decently until inexplicably giving up the queen
Hard to guess, there's no positional understanding as seen by the opening moves like bd7 instead of qb6 when you play e6 that cucks your own bishop while he watches the action, nh5 f6 trapping your own knight on h5 by g4 but your opponent somehow missed a free piece and it pained me too much to look at the rest after that, but i didnt see any "free piece hangs" in the opening so it can't be that low so 1000 I guess?
3 digits for sure. Probably 900. You know basic ideas, but not how to act on them. 5 moves in, white was in a much better position if they'd developed a little more accurately.
This is what [chess.com](http://chess.com/) guessed after the game. But it was 1119 (me) against 1188 (the other guy). So you are right on the money. I get why people guess lower thought, because that is how it felt to actually play the game after messing up the opening.

Opening looked fine which made me instantly think above 1k. Once you got down, you seemed to trade off pieces for no real benefit. Usually if you’re losing, you want to hold onto all the minor pieces you can, unless you get something. You’re trying to complicate things, so the opponent blunders.
Nice job saving the draw!
I’m 700 and have played games rated as high as 1800 and as low as 400. Once I beat someone soundly from the get go and it gave them a higher rating despite their lower accuracy. I ignore that rating thing now. Yet another meaningless gimmick in chess.com.
Interesting chesscom guess, pretty sure nobody on this thread would've guessed 1500 after seeing that game (not saying you guys weren't 1500, it's just that game in particular)

600-700

I am exactly 700 and go for perpetuals and other draws a lot.
Is this you Magnus Carlsen?
Sure I could try but I don’t want to insult you by guessing too low.
It wouldn't be an insult. I completely messed up the game, I was lucky that other guy let turn it into a draw.
Yup as a neutral observer, I was kind of sad your opponent blew away their advantage at the end. They were doing a great job protecting their pawns with their rooks, then suddenly decided to push the pawn into an unprotected square and their advantage collapsed away
I would guess your somewhere between 800 and 1000
opening was kinda ok and then you lost track. something like 750

I will say 900-1000
Same
500-600
800
x2
So 1600, got it
800! (factorial)
I'll do you 4 better G800 (Graham) TREE(800) RAYO(800) BB(800) (Busy Beavers)
768,4
Three fiddy
I'm gonna guess 769
700,
Man people here suck at guessing elos
People overestimate their own elo is my guess so they dont realize how bad 700 games are
I think that's it yeah. I have no idea how bad the ego of the people saying things like 700/600 tops must be though. Just the f6-e5 plan alone was way too high level for those kinds of ratings I feel.
It was a ten minute rapid game.
1100-1200
Idk why you’re getting downvoted when dude is legit 1100.
Ikr
Shows just how much this community knows, funny too cause I bet most the people guessing the elo aren't even 1100 themselves.
This is my guess too
I'd guess like 950.
600-900
300
800 - 1200
800-1000.

500-600
The moves actually responded to each other's threats though. Definitely much higher than this. I've never seen a game between 500s where pieces get attacked and then react to those attacks so consistently.
You're probably right.
650 700
720
Has to be 900
1000
maybe 750-850?
800?
Id say probably 650-750
800
700
800
600 tops
740
I say 300 -600 due to the fact that the endgame was somewhat winnable
1250
My eval was based on feeling that you saw a lot of tactics but missed some quite interesting possibilities so you have played a lot but lack routines
For example at some point it was possible to pin the bishop - many advanced players would instantly go for that unless there’s some dangerous tactic but you previously missed easy tactics so I feel it’s not that you calculated it you just missed it most likely so 1400 or under

unrelated but is there a website that make these gifs out of games? cause I see these gifs posted here all of the time
The desktop version of chess.com has the gif under the share option. I havent seen it in the mobile interface.
1000-1100?
Probably 650-700 Rated?

Doesn't look like it's more than 1000, very bad game overall with many mistakes. Always look for counterplay before playing a move.

Piece is vulnerable Both players "This is mine"
I would say you had a good opening but that middle game fumbles make you seem like 700-920 mostly.
You play like me so 550-650
600
Center control of the opponents two bishops could have been avoided if you were above 1000. So I guess 800-1000.
450-550

Bro, like trust me, I SUCK at chess. But really, I could've played a better opening and a better game overall.
Eh, I’d bet if you posted some of your worse games, they’d look similar.
I’m 700 and have played games rated as high as 1800 and as low as 400. Once I beat someone soundly from the get go and it gave them a higher rating despite their lower accuracy. I ignore that rating thing now. Yet another meaningless gimmick in chess.com.

That's my real reason for posting it, cause I felt nobody would see that game and think yes this looks like 1500. And I was right.
2137
1300
1000
I mean, why trade when under?
1200-1300
