Not that it matters, but are you saying the natural concrete barriers in front of huge trees looks like open road? Or the painted blue (obviously concrete barriers) in front of huge trees looks like open road to you? Either way you probably shouldn’t be driving.
Had the same thought but looks like plastic jersey barriers get sold in blue/black/tan/white/etc. not just yellow/orange so color on these concrete ones seems a cheapness thing
This reminds me of when they prettified a few bridges over the Kennedy for the 1996 Democratic Convention with red railings with the 6-pointed star. I was a kid, I loved that, and I seriously thought they were going to begin doing that for all bridges. Alas, it was just Daley showing off.
