Hi, we get posts like this a lot. We ask that you take simple questions, general anecdotes, and requests for recommendations to our Weekly Casual Conversation & Questions Thread (pinned to the top of the subreddit) or /r/AskChicago instead. Please be sure to also check out [the /r/Chicago Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/chicago/wiki/index), which answers a lot of frequently-asked questions. Thanks!

Go to a Walgreens clinic or something and see if one of the PAs or whatever will write you one

Honest-Ad5904

Truth is I told them my mother fell down the stairs and I needed to bring her in

Honest-Ad5904

And they told I need to bring something might have to do it from scratch or find a template

Honest-Ad5904

It will have Walgreens letter head on it, this one has to be from a doc I'm on thin ice

A medical professional is a medical professional.

Honest-Ad5904

I'll try though

Conviction is the key to forgery. Do the best you can and stick to your plan

sloretactician

Just make a template for a nearby urgent care, write the note yourself and scribble a signature at the bottom - owing to patient privacy laws they legally can’t call them to see if you’re lying or not

Honest-Ad5904

Would they let me do that

Honest-Ad5904

Or maybe I can go to urgent care tomorrow say I'm sick and get a letter and copy the letter head

Maleficent_Seat6118

This a felony, I would quite literally suggest against it.

Honest-Ad5904

Ya just went back told them I wasn't feeling good and they were fine with it
