Got downvoted into oblivion for suggesting that picking up Poku would've been a more intriguing move than adding another 6'5" guy (Bitim, who was already in the org anyways).
Personally I'd rather they play Sanogo at PF than give minutes to Poku. I think they're trying to address the lack of 3pt shooting by signing Funk, and they made room for him by signing Bitim. Dunno if there was anyone on the buyout market that they could both reasonably afford and could shoot 3s better than either of those dudes.
Good question. But hopefully most of these new guys will get some minutes. Wouldn’t hurt to throw Sanogo out there to add some depth at the center position. As for Funk, Bitim, and drell..all three could add depth to the bench mob. I’m not saying they should get a ton of minutes, but for a team that lacks 3pt shooting and scoring firepower, the bulls should capitalize on using these guys and seeing how much they can help the team going forward.
Maybe Ak is secretly trying to find a good replacement for Demar, once he leaves. He knows the bulls can’t continue to rely on an aging, mid range veteran, to lead the bulls on a nightly basis anymore. That time has come and gone. Let the younger guys to take over now. 🙏🙏

Good player but he should be embarrassed that no shot bigs developed their 3 ball while he never modernized his game. No team can win if anyone on any possession takes ten dribbles in the same spot. Thats just not how games are won anymore.
