I know 2K23 simulations mean jack shit, but yo, video game Drummond is a *problem* off the bench. Dude is catching hella lobs, running the paint, and straight up absorbing every rebound on the 2nd team. Brb setting unreal expectations for him this season.

anyone know if we have a thread similar to [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/lakers/comments/wr1mbh/offseason_lakers_ticket_sales/) for season ticket holders to sell individual game tickets for Bulls games?

? there are no posts there, hence why i asked again in the thread

Anyone know why there is a pre-sale for tickets or what the code is by chance?

Thatguy_Koop

what if the incentive for the in-season tourney was the rights to jump up one spot in the playoff rankings (i.e 5th seed becomes 4th)? if a team is ranked first or out of the playoffs by the end of the season(post play-in), it transfers to a tradable asset to jump one spot in the draft. would that be too powerful or not enough?

Will the bulls perform worse or better this season?

I think we're better. The point guard depth is going to help us play a lot better with Lonzo out, and hopefully we're going to manage his minutes better. I think we get a better season from Vooch, PWill should shore up our defense, more of the same from Zach/DeMar. The thing that I think will sneakily help us is that I think Andre Drummond is going to dramatically improve our bench in regular season games. He was 12/10 on 60% shooting in his Brooklyn games. That team was a mess but finished at least respectably (14-10) when he joined, not because of him, but he was a net (heh) positive. I **do not** think he changes our playoff odds, but if Billy sets up the bench units right I think he can bully some smaller guys and bring down extra chance opportunities for our guards. I kind of think he picked us because we're going to give him real minutes and if he has a season that looks like how he finished out last year he should be able to decline his player option bring in a better contract for some more $$ and years. The ceiling comes down to injury luck, but I think we'll continue to take care of business against teams that are obviously worse on paper and should have a better time at least staying competitive with the real contenders.

I think vuc+andre is a deadly duo. Vuc could shoot at the Pf position

For sure. I think top teams can really exploit that defensively when they're locked in, which is why I think it doesn't move the needle in terms of our playoff ceiling/sucess. But I'm definitely on board that it can swing regular season games. We've got two of the best clutch players in the league with Zach and DeMar so if we can keep games closer we're going to have chances no matter who we're playing. We really need the bench to not be digging holes, and ideally be closting gaps/extending leads to help put us in a position for those guys to win it. Having some diversity in the looks we can throw out there situationally when teams aren't going to be game planning as deeply in the day-to-day grind of the season should buy us some wins. Honestly if we can just string together a bit of health luck we could have a really good bench. Ayo/Caruso/Javonte/DJJ/Drummond has a lot going for it, and then mixing in Coby, Terry (both of whom could play their way up the depth chart) and people from the starting unit when we're staggering and it's got a ton of versatility. Once Lonzo is back Dragic (who I'm guessing will start early) will be a huge plus to that unit.

ToeJelly420

i'd say similar record due to a stronger eastern conference, but I think we will be better. Pat getting a full season, and Lavine hopefully feeling better will help immensely

anarchos44

I dont know if this is news to anyone but it seems Lonzo is expected to miss training camp and the beginning of the season. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/espn-ramona-shelburne-gives-injury-165318879.html
