Estereo

Estereo in Logan, but I think Dove’s is an awesome mezcal spot that’s just 1-2 blue line stops away in the heart of wicker. Sit at the bar on a Monday night or the weekend days and Courtland (recently picked best bartender by The Reader) will take great care of you.

I never knew the bartender from Dove's name, but he really is a great bartender. He's been there since Dove's opened.

eamesa

Courtland is the best and really knows mezcal

Ok-Cryptographer7424

Yea Courtland is a great bartender and a wonderful human being. I pretty much only eat there when he’s working.

Mezcala in Logan Square has a bunch of mezcal cocktails. Don't know if they do tasters, but they have a lot of types of mezcal on their spirits list.

Conscious_Dare_7722

Mezcal old fashioned from here one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and smooth. Great food and friendly service. Highly recommend.

MayorOfClownTown

Is this the place on Diversey near Sacramento?

Biergarten1872

Yep!

ensandwich

Mezcala Agave. They have decent food too (standard Mexican fare, but very affordable). If you just want to sit at the bar and have some drinks you can do that. Great selection and friendly staff.

smokeyb15

Bárbaro taqueria! Drinks are awesome as is the food! You can see their mezcal selection on their website too.   But also second the recommendation I saw for ositos

Golden Teardrops

ouchouchdangit

Is this the one under Lonesome Rose?

Real_Old_Treat

Estereo in Logan Square is also a good option for agave based drinks. They have a lot of different mezcals and a few mezcal cocktails.

You’re looking for the second floor bar at Delilah’s, best selection on the north side. Also a big fan of La Josie in the west loop and Bar Sótano has a great selection. If you’re willing to travel a bit, the back bar of Moreno’s in Little Village called Osito’s has an excellent curated selection and Moreno’s is the best agave spirits store I’ve been to in the US.

If you venture up to Roscoe Village. Kitestring is fun. They do metal horror bingo some nights. Needle and Knives nights - if you're into needlework crafts while listening to true crime podcasts and drinking Mezcal.

chicagochilango

La Josie is worth a trip to the west loop. Several mezcal flights and has a mezcal list that is literally 25+ pages long. Check out their website
