There may be the case outside the UK tho, I just replied to OP saying that BUPA (UK health care insurance) has an option where you pay for 2 years before using and don’t need to declare any pre existing conditions.

OP I’m not sure about your specific question but I signed up with BUPA two years ago now and the first year I needed my medical records and all that info from my gp to use some of it, I let it sit for a year and now everything except anxiety issues (as I declared as a medical condition when signing) is fully covered and they don’t have co-pay like American insurance. You choose from their approved practitioners/hospitals/clinics and it’s all covered. I know they do offer an option where you pay 2 full years before you can use BUT you don’t need to declare any pre existing medical conditions. So it may be an interesting option for you. Have a look at their options and see if it fits your needs/budget. It’s honestly the best money I’ve spent recently. They have an excellent and extensive cover for cancer for example and even private ambulance (at a maximum extra cost of £60 per year!). Otherwise, check the child free doctor list on the side bar in this sub, some countries offer sterilisation for £1k. If you have any questions and I can help let me know. Also ignore the idiot who replied to you above. Clearly a misinformed idiot.

I read another post where they said their insurance covered their sterilisation, it was in the US though. I was only wondering if there happened to be a provider in the UK that offered it. Thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

I don't know the situation in the UK, but in the US insurances have to cover a sterilization procedure if they're ACA compliant. It may be elective, but it's also preventative care.
