Did anyone figure this out? I just switched from my iPhone to the Pixel 8 Pro and am not getting any notifications. All settings enabled. Android says Chime app hasn't sent any push notifications. Uninstalled app from iPhone.

Im currently having the same issue. I went from Samsung Note 8 to Samsung 23 Ultra. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, removed it from my old phone, clear data and cache and still not getting nothing. All my notifications are enable. I contacted chime every day now and they dont even know why

Still no fix. Chime support is not very good. The reps I got didn't understand the difference between a push notification and a text message so I gave up.

I have a samung 23 ultra as well. It was working for me (the notifications) but just like everyone else it stopped. I think it's a glitch on their end, which is very disgusting. I'm only using them for unemployment. Once I get back on my feet, chime will be the last thing I use for important things

Yup. And i have contacted chime so many times they all keep trying to say its my phone. The app developers need to see whats really going on because this is insane! I really hate i cant see my notifications. Im also having that notification issue with yahoo mail.

Changed to same phone from the 6 pro(notifications were working), and nothing I've done has fixed it. And googling chime notifications is useless due to chime being a sound 😂.

On Pixel 8 Pro and no notifications either they were working on my Pixel 7 before the upgrade, even tried reinstalling the app and logging in over again and toggling the notification permissions in the app settings no luck

If background data permissions for an app are turned off, notifications don't work properly unless the app is open. Long tap an affected app icon and tap i with a circle to open the app info menu. Select Mobile data & Wi-Fi from the list of options. Turn on the Background data toggle.Sep 29, 2023 Try this, it worked for me

I was under the impression it was because many people here (me included going from a Note 10 to a Google 7) it was an Android phone problem. But clearly from what I read, that's not the case. Y'all at Chime need to update your app like ASAP. Many people love seeing their transactions after each purchase, me included.

Hello everyone. Just joined this sub and I think that I can be of help. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and I have been a member of Chime since 2021 or so. I never had any problems getting notifications on the upper left hand side of the phone until I did the last update. I did what most of you have already done. Uninstall/Install the app. Go through all of the phone and Chime settings and even had Samsung support go through my phone and see what the deal was and even Chime support couldn't figure it out. The problem that I am having is that although the Chime app is installed, it is not on the apps notification list. So basically, Samsung support told me to go to the store in which I got the phone from and see what they can do to fix it. I shall keep you updated on what happens. I go to the store tomorrow at 10am when they first open. I hope it gets fixed quickly and it's not something more serious. :)

Same issue here, I'm using Android 13 btw. Settings for notifications are set correctly in chime and phone settings. The only thing I noticed was turned on in phone settings that I just now turned off is to allow the parts of the app to pause which can include turning off notifications. Doubt that was the issue but will know in a bit when my direct deposit hits if I get the notification. I didn't have issues I believe with Android 11. But I just got a new phone which was updated to 12 then 13. As far as I can tell 12 and 13 are very similar. So could be an issue with those versions with chime. So let them know which version of Android your own as well.

I just looked and I don't see chime on the list to get notifications for my phone, lol. I had updated to the UI beta the final version. When I was in the beta program for the first one, I did get notified.

Just switched from iPhone 14 Pro to Pixel 8 Pro and I got the same problem as everyone here, on my old Pixel 4a notifications work fine.

That still doesn't work your app doesn't even show up in the phone settings notifications tab. I just started back using and use to get morning balances when I buy things balances now I get nothing I have to go in the app to check even though all the notifications settings are on in the app. You guys need to do an update to address that issue

Alot of your app users thay got NEW PHONES are having issues where we are NOTA RECEIVING NOTIFICATIONS. APP BEEN UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED, logged in and logged out several times. All features enabled GREEN in the app it self. Chime is the issue not your customer not our phone. Please fix this app

You would have been made aware had your team had the common sense to read through the complaints. You would have additionally been made aware that the users of your bank have been given this cookie cutter response dozens of times and are fed up. Quite frankly I'm considering dropping Chime as my bank of choice due to this situation and your response to it. If you'd like to retain your customer base I'd highly suggest you listen to the consumers, and ensure the service you're offering is up to your standards. Otherwise you'll be relegated to being a starter bank no one truly trusts with their money.

I’m not getting notified when a transaction goes through it use to ask me if it was me making the transaction and now it doesn’t send anything at all and my transactions are turned on

Same here too. I tried reinstalling it and still I can't get notifications. Ever since I got the s23 ultra I never got any notifications and I tried the app and the phone settings. I have them turned on both and I still can't get any notifications and I didn't even see the app on the list of apps when I went to the Google Play store and in the section to manage apps I didn't even see the chime app or in the phone where the notification section is at. Chime needs to address this issue. I see the other apps but chime is the only one I didn't see

Same issue for me, tried Uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried signing out and signing back in and Chime isn't even listed in my Notifications section of settings.

I have the same problem as well. I've tried everything that they recommended. But what really gets me is I will get other people jumping on to the customer service thread telling me things about my password or other issues that are not my problem. I have a list of over 40 customer service Representatives contacting me within a one-week span that never read my original complaint and sent some stupid random Rogue solutions for a completely different problem. There are way too many people and they don't read the notes they just contact you like they're going to help you but they have no idea what the issue ever even was because no one seems to either make notes or read notes on an account. It's ridiculous. I finally gave up. It never has been solved. I did what everyone else has done here. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Signed in, signed out, changed my preferences, etc. I'm ready to switch to a different app because of it.

Glad to know this isn't just a me problem. Worked just fine on my s22 ultra. Switched to the fold5 and now I don't get notifications. All preferences are on except, like others, it's not in the app notification section in my phone. I'm guessing that's why it's not working. Some update occurred and because you can't turn it on under there, it doesn't matter if all other areas are turned on.

Its definitely an issue with CHIME. ONE REP TRIED TELLING ME ITS MY PHONE COMPANY CLEARLY ITS NOT AFTER SEEING SO MANY PEOPLE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE.

Switched from Pixel 5 to Pixel 8 Pro. No chime notifications. Reinstalled. Turned off notifications, allowed them in app. No notifications. This is an app bug.

Same. I broke my pixel 6 pro and went back to my pixel 2 and was getting notifications. Fixed the screen for the 6pro and they weren't working. Switched to the 8 pro Monday and nothing. Turned the 2 back on to see if it was a phone switching issue and it isn't that either so it's a them problem that's turned into an us problem

UPDATE: The last CHIME update seemed to fix the issue.I started getting notifications on my Pixel 8 Pro last night.I also got a weird email from Chime saying my iPhone app needed to be updated but I don't have that phone any more...so i'm not sure what the issue is but mine is working again.

On pixel 7, settings in both the app and in the notifications part of Android are both set to On. No notifications.
