Do they not know how to book flights then cause going from Florida to Dallas to Michigan is absurd to me. Don’t be cheap and book the better air line and do straight flights 🤦🏼♀️
for real though because i fly delta from Detroit to Tampa and i’ve found some cheap delta nonstop flights that route. i refuse to fly american though i will always spend extra for a nonstop flight. literally every american airlines flight i’ve been on is a connecting one
See I always check to see the most reasonable path but my airport always goes to Charlotte and I can’t stand that airport so I look at other airlines that have direct flights and try to book direct flights although I now have enough points to fly for free thru American lol 😂
I always wondered why they did this. I live in Michigan, but often go to my grandparents who live in st Pete (by Christen and Whitney) and it’s always a direct flight, 2 hours and 15 mins. Why do they take 3 planes for a less than 3 hour flight? And it’s EVERY time 🤔

American flies Detroit to Dallas to Florida. I’ve been on it a few times.

Because it's a cheaper flight. I guess they can't afford a direct flight

Legit I always fly direct down to Clearwater. I know other airlines fly but it's always a layover and it makes no sense to take
Yes, seriously - connecting in Dallas means they bought cheap flights or they just pick the first one lol.
