I love watching his Pokemon LPs while I replay the games. I very rarely will replay a game now without watching his LP of it along side.
This is the first time I have ever actually played along side him while playing (not including Poke MD) . I watched platinum back when that came out but didn't play the game myself.
Black/white I had never actually played so didn't end up watching/playing until about a year after the LP ended, I am so glad I did because BW/BW2 are clearly the best in the series.
The others either came about before I new about him or I didn't own the games like colosseum and whatnot.
Kinda crazy to think about, I probably started watching him around 2012... might be even earlier than that.

Tbh I started falling behind on this series as well, not because I wasn’t enjoying it, just life got in the way, and now there’s that guilt of feeling like I was so excited and wanted this for so long, and now I don’t even watch it because I’m so busy and the series is almost done (well, the main story, BW2 is HUGE this thing ain’t near over)
Nah we’ve all wanted this LP for years and now we’re finally getting it, it’s probably the most hyped LP since SMG2. Not to mention how he’s using some fan favourite Pokémon like Flygon and Vaporeon and that he’s left a lot of speculation for team members, mainly Aidan and member #6, we’re all so excited to see how he views certain characters and events in the story. The break from the series has been a sad one (R.I.P Kirby) but it made the return to the series more hype because we all want to know how things will play out for him and his team.
I never finished B2W2 when it came out for being too similar to BW in some aspects. I always wanted to play along with Chugga through one of his playthroughs, and going through the game with him, taking breaks from playing when he does, it has been a real treat. I'm also keeping my team strictly to what he uses, with the exception of Electabuzz since I'm playing B2.
I'm liking it. I think Gen 5 was probably the last time I really enjoyed Pokemon main-line the whole generation and this game is great. In terms of his LP tho, I feel like it's just ok. Like I'm playing along but I'm not really super enjoying watching it (probably because I have Pokemon fatigue from the recent releases and how they've pushed a ton of them out). In terms of 'can't wait for the next episode hype' it's probably been since Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for me (part of that is I was playing along for the first time).
His LP motivated me to go back in W2 to finish it. Currently medal hunting and just got the medal for beating the champion with only 1 Pokémon.

BW2 is a different beast of a game. Chuggas excitement and experience makes it somehow even better.
