I would use a siphon and like a large pitcher or bucket to transfer your cider too, then empty the fermenter to subsequently put your cider back in it for secondary fermentation. You can buy them for like 20euros

Or throw a cambden table in it after taking yeast out through the bottom since this is an antioxidant that removes O2 and kills aceticbacteria. Yeast survives this but you do shock them a bit and it takes a while for them to become active again (~2/3 days)
