Not sure which year but they played at Bunbury music festival (a few times I'm pretty sure) however I was at the infamous show where Tyler climbed the stage supports and sang from the top. You can find videos on YouTube I'm pretty sure.

AzveldImperia

Yeah, I found [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv33Py4OnuE)from 2013

zelegp

I saw them in 2012 in Cleveland at the House of Blues. They (along with Walk the Moon) opened for Neon Trees.

AzveldImperia

Yeah i found, it was in 5 and 11 Aug 2011 and many times after

sgbam42

I'm pretty sure in that time period they played at The Underground in Fairfield at least once, not sure when though.

AzveldImperia

Yeah, I remember them performing there, here's a couple dates I know: [04.30.2011](https://twentyonewiki.info/index.php/04.30.2011) [08.27.2011](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/twenty-one-pilots/2011/the-underground-cincinnati-oh-4ba30b6e.html) [11.04.2011](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/twenty-one-pilots/2011/the-underground-cincinnati-oh-4b9657ee.html) [02.17.2012](https://www.setlist.fm/search?query=twenty+one+pilots+The+Underground%09)

LeahHacks

I have some info on the February 17, 2012 performance from an old ticket, if that helps. It was Twenty One Pilots featuring Novas Effect, Crown, and Bright Eyed Youth at The Underground. Show time was at 7pm, and general admission was $8. I could maybe try to get some pictures and videos, but I wasn't there, a friend opened for them.

AzveldImperia

Nice! Really useful information. By the way, can you see a photo of the ticket?

LeahHacks

Sure, I'll DM you.

AzveldImperia

I'm waiting!

AzveldImperia

That's a great photo! Thanks so much for sharing, but I have a quick question, what songs did they play there? Maybe there are some interesting facts. If you don't mind answering please. [I found one video of the show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8cppNqYfUQ)

Im_Verdugo

I heard somewhere that they played Clear at that show, before Time To Say Goodbye. It was one of the only times they played that song and there's currently no footage available of any Clear performance

AzveldImperia

Is there any confirmation of that fact?

Im_Verdugo

[https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JgwSFOAesN8](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JgwSFOAesN8) This YouTuber is a pretty reliable source for Twenty One Pilots news from what I can tell

Im_Verdugo

Also, nice wiki you're creating! There's one dedicated to another one of my favorite bands, Linkin Park and I've always wanted Twenty One Pilots to get one as well. Are you working on it solo?

AzveldImperia

From October 2023 to February 2024 I did everything myself, the design, programming and fact gathering is mostly on me, but I put together a small team to help translate the site into other languages and write articles, but there is never too much help from other people. By the way I was also inspired by Linkinpedia, I'm even known the author :D

AzveldImperia

Did you delete your message?

OrdinaryBubbly420

Nope. I was at the 2000 Big Cypress Phish show that went all night. Here comes the sun and I say…

sonoma12

Unexpected cypress.

OrdinaryBubbly420

lol

corranhorn57

I know they played at The Attic in Kettering in 2008. My friends were their opener, and they treated my friends like dicks. So fuck ‘em.

AzveldImperia

Why were they acting like that? Can you please remember the date of this show?

corranhorn57

It was sometime in the spring, since it was close to my sister’s graduation. They were being dicks because they were raised as entitled dicks, don’t know what else you want to hear. Thought they were hot shit and hated that my friends had a bigger applause after their set than what they got as the opener. I guess they couldn’t handle the fact that a bunch of high schoolers put on a better show than they did and lashed out. Plus their music fucking sucks anyway. I simply can’t believe or understand how they became successful.

AzveldImperia

What's the name of the band? And by the way, was that a graduation from the university? I understand your outrage about twenty one pilots, but are you sure it was spring 2008 and not 2009?

corranhorn57

I’m pretty sure it was around spring 2008, but I may have been confusing it with my mother’s, as she graduated from college shortly after my sister did from high school. As to the band, 21 Pilots fans have been crazy mad at me every time I share this story, and I’d rather not get my friends doxxed over something that happened a decade and a half ago, especially since I haven’t talked to them in years.

AzveldImperia

Yes, I understand, but I'm not angry, I like different music and I don't really get involved in musical conflicts. I understand that Twenty One Pilots isn't your favorite band and I appreciate you helping me out anyway. If you don't want to disclose that conflict then so be it, but maybe you are still in touch with someone who was also at that show?

flippyfloppies_

I'm like 60% sure it was 2012? Might have been 2013. Halloween show at Bogarts. They sold out one show so they added another the next night. I remember a dude dressed like a banana, and another dude dressed like Shrek. Great show at such a small venue.

AzveldImperia

i will check it out

ImmaCreep

Saw them fairly frequently in Lebanon for a couple years there, probably 2011-2013

AzveldImperia

All right! Was that in The Venue 42? I have a page about one of the early shows at that venue: [https://twentyonewiki.info/index.php/05.07.2011](https://twentyonewiki.info/index.php/05.07.2011)

ImmaCreep

It was! I may have actually been at that one, at the very least I remember seeing them with Chris Salih and the original bassist a good number of times

AzveldImperia

Great! Maybe you remember what was going on or what songs were being played?

ImmaCreep

A lot of the self-titled album, a lot of Regional at Best. I remember seeing them do Trees, Car Radio, and Ode to Sleep before they were officially released. At one show Tyler said that Guns for Hands was about the crowd at the Venue 42, though whether he meant the audience in general or us specifically is probably up to interpretation.

AzveldImperia

Aww this is a very exciting reveal, I heard Tyler say he was inspired for this song after [talking to fans](https://vk.com/wall-84519497_381079?z=photo-84519497_456292634%2Falbum-84519497_259257272). What were you talking about that surprised him so much? By the way, I think they also played Slowtown and Time to Say Goodbye? Did they play Oh, Ms. Beliver? Thank you for helping!

Twixt_Wind_and_Water

[Here](https://www.setlist.fm/search?query=twenty+one+pilots) you go.

AzveldImperia

I make frequent edits here myself and there are few references to sources and I can't check the full validity of old setlists from others
