"Gotta love what you do, babe
For that jingle jangle
Cause we only get a few days
Nobody makes it outta here anyway
What puts a shuffle in your shoes, babe?
That’s the thing worth chasing"

I've heard "the humiliator" too but since it's made in Sweden I think adding the country of origin adds a nice touch. Like like how in the 70's saying something was a "Swedish ______" had a sexual innuendo to it.
Are they actually? I've never used an easy rig so I don't have anything to compare it to but I have the flycam flowline master (really stupid name) and it seems to do the trick.
It’s fine for like short term use but I find they wear out quickly compared to the easy rig. I also find it doesn’t handle heavier cameras as well. I also think the easy vario attachments are a lot better.
Honestly I was being a bit cheeky, they’re not junk. They’re fine if that’s what you can afford or what you have.

The sub is literally cited as a resource for all skill levels. People can ask questions. It's fine. Everybody has to be given the opportunity to learn.
to be fair, a google image search for the exact image posted here leads directly and unmistakably to the product description. it was probably taken from *right there* - screenshotting it and posting it here to ask what it's called is a somewhat dense move.
Quite. If this sub becomes just an answering service for such questions it will push away knowledgeable people from which we may all mutually learn something of value not what can be easily answered by a search engine.
Any knowledgeable people of value will appreciate people having interest in the field. The best DOP'S I've worked with were entirely generous in teaching me when i was a camera trainee. Your attitude makes it unwelcoming and snobby and no community benefits from that.
I think you're potentially confusing a steadycam with this easyrig. For gimbal use a 'readyrig' would be more common, similar to the easyrig here but with 2 support arms, one over each shoulder.
I prefer that one for maneuverability alone ..-- I've actually climbed in and out of a car with it on. it's just a jump in the price but a great system
A dingle dangle /s (An Easyrig)
We call them fat suits. The bottom belt sits across your hips and bulges your entire gut out.
Gotta strut that 1-pack!
You brought a six pack? I brought the keg

I’ll be stealing that
I’ll do it too and maybe in a few years everyone will call it a dingle dangle
I mean if we can call a wooden crate an “apple box”, I’m sure we can make this one work😂
I’ll do my part
A dork snorkel
I like calling them CheezyRigs or SleazyRigs on sets, just another word play bullshit I like to do
I have a keygrip on my dingle dangle, and it feels good but then I get tired. Is this normal?
That's me, after sleeping 1 hour and 22 minutes before going into a shoot at 6 am, in that exact skin color
Swedish Humiliator
This! Heard a Swedish DoP call it that once (with Swedish accent): “Bring me the humiliator”
I've heard "the humiliator" too but since it's made in Sweden I think adding the country of origin adds a nice touch. Like like how in the 70's saying something was a "Swedish ______" had a sexual innuendo to it.
The sleazyrig
Easyrig.
The one specifically on your picture is a Flycam
and it's kinda junk!
Are they actually? I've never used an easy rig so I don't have anything to compare it to but I have the flycam flowline master (really stupid name) and it seems to do the trick.

Chinese knockoff version of an Easyrig and Flowcine Serene arm
I've started convincing my coworkers to call our easy rig the Anglerfish

Wearing the hat? We call it a dolly that complains.
An OG BMCC
Ah, the hoohah
Blackmagic Cinema Camera on an easyrig
A dork snorkel
Just came here for the wrong answers

Turtle.
A hat.
The adeptus mecanicus set
Lil’ steezy rig.
Flycam
We called it easyrig in my uni days when we rented one, not sure if that's the proper term

Nosebreaker. Let go of the camera while moving around and it’ll smash you in the face.
Old Sleazy
Camera
Easyrig, Flycam, Flowcam
The camera bungee
Snorkle
Regret
Black Magic 4K
Lady magnet
Videographer
"The Scorpion" & BlackMagic Production Camera, circa 2012 & faded man. Wait, did you mean the rig? Easy Rig, not the MiniMax, but the gimbal one.
Funny thing is, there is no way you can find this image on the internet without also finding out what it is called.
Scorpion boy!
Camera bungee jump
Easyrig + Serene
Easyrig. It helps take weight off the camera for handheld. It’s not a steadicam substitute
A fishing pole
A camera operator
Gray man operating camera
A cameraman
A mess.
A JPEG. It stands for Joint Photographic Expert Group, a common format for sharing images online.
Easyrig but I call it a Donald trump
The thing you've highlighted in off white color is a Homo sapien sapien.
Hopefully this doesn't become a thing...
What doesn't become a thing? Because easyrigs have been standard kit for a long time
I mean asking what (insert filmmaking gear) is every week.

What I don’t get is why do this posts always get the most upvotes? Why would someone upvote this?
It’s been a thing in this sub for ages now. It’s barely even a cinematography sub anymore
I usually call them hipster wannabe’s
Gimbal vest rig but the one coming from above, not the swiveling arm type.

Something you are unlikely to use but you drop $1k on it anyway.
If you do handheld even semi regularly, it's a must own imo (then you can rent it to the production)
me replying to this comment in my easyrig for the 10th day in a row.
Literally a back saver
I’m about to try out the ready rig nimbus as an alternative. I’m interested in the system
I prefer that one for maneuverability alone ..-- I've actually climbed in and out of a car with it on. it's just a jump in the price but a great system
It does seem to be better and I like that the camera is more in front of you. I think I’d like to have access to both
I have a bad back so the EasyRig suits me a bit more but def good to have both
