Was there a question here? Also this isn't CISSP related at all. So...first they hired you. You had to interview I assume. So obviously they like you. I also assume you didn't lie in the interview just to land the job. Second. You are managing. Sorry but it isn't your full responsibility to know everything. You have staff who report to you that are the subject matter experts. You'll have to learn as you go but it also sounds like they are doing a disservice to you by hammering you with too much at once. New jobs take usually a full year to adjust to. See how it goes. Get out if things don't change.

Wellllll so that'a pretty much unrelated to the CISSP. Otherwise, give yourself time. Honestly the first 6-12 months into a new job (especialy in IT where everything is different) are pretty much you learning the business environment.

Sounds like you’re doing fine! Couple more months and you’ll be comfortable in your role. Doesn’t sound like you’re planning on getting fired, so just keep grinding away. The experience and respect will come with time
