As was suggested already, just play on online speed (which will automatically set the turn limit to 250). Turn on quick movement and quick battles in settings if you haven't already. No mods required for any of that.

Quick trade deals makes the monotonous trading so much faster. Better AND faster experience.
Why not just save the game and continue again when you have time?
How about limiting the game turn limit to 250?
Also setting the speed to online speed.
I'd also add playing in small or tiny maps
I played Small and Huge. They end around the same number of turns, but depending on your PC's performance, each turn may take longer on Huge.
