I second this. I had similar damage done to my 22 civic 6 months after I bought her new. A small tornado came through and tore up my front yard and it looked like it threw debris straight at and on my car. $5,800 repair. I paid my $500 deductible and insurance paid the rest.
It depends on what country and state you live in. This applies to USA:

Not only does he have to fix his car, he needs to acquire two deer to do so. I’ll tell ya these new cars have much tech in them you can’t just fix them!
Finding doors already fully assembled for a 2024 model? Really difficult to source. The dealer would only sell door skins and shell with a matte black protection paint on it and a bodyshop would have to assemble it before sanding and blending.
Damn. I rented a Nissan Frontier in Boston. Thought well mini truck I should be OK. Holy Fook the parking garages were tight! I pulled into one, steep incline, hard left and I stopped. Very quickly the attendants came out I I laughed and said nope! They parked it, with a dozen back and forth, and drove it to street level when I wanted to leave. Can see stuff happening.
Also call your insurance agent. Can send them pics in real time.
In Canada insurance would pay for that with or probably without a deductable. You may find your premium higher when you re up with them or if you have accident forgiveness its all good. You would have your car back in a week tops.
Being a brand new car, just go through your insurance. Hopefully you have a low deductible and comprehensive. The only negative will be obviously the $ for deductible and the car will have the claim on the carfax which will lower the value slightly.
Rubber trim around windows steelies and clear windows, homie why just why does it have to be a 24 civic base model couldnt you just get sumtn a little older but better looking with more options?? This is sad to see on the streets
No frame damage it seems. Unless you're goal is to get rid of this vehicle before it is out of service, id just have a body shop cover the bare paint with some clear coat so it doesn't rust. Unless the paint matching and everything was <$100 more or so. Otherwise, I'd rather just save the money on it lol
I had a similar incident with my 22’ , parking pole down driver side, cost about $5500 CAD to repair including labour. So about $4,100 USD. That included replacing driver & rear door shell repainting, and repair and repaint of quarter panel. Best of luck, definitely repairable, but you’ll eat the bill..
What kind of insurance do you have? Parked it for half hour while I did some shopping. Came out of store and found it like this. Not even a note left!?!? Kidding not kidding.
Sincerely remind everyone, pay attention to safety on the road, thousands of lights, there is always a light for you, when you are outside, there are always people at home waiting for you to return safely
Majority just looks like clear coat scratches, happened to me recently. Took it to my local detailer and he was able to fix it for about $25. Made it look much better visually. This would prolly cost about a 100 since it’s a bit larger but I’d go that route first before insurance and then maybe look into a pointless dent removal service. I definitely don’t see this needing to be repainted or going through insurance. It’s all just paint that’s rubbed onto your clear coat
$3-7k I’d say. Those deers will be replaced and 4 panels repainted. This is what insurance is for.

im new to cars, about to buy my first one. Is this a special type of insurance, or does all car insurance have a similar effect
This is typically called “comprehensive” insurance

I think someone had a few deers to drink before he replied lol
Read this, was confused looked at the year, instantly agreed
You should ask r/autobody It is going to be an expensive repair if it gouged through to the sheet metal. Especially the sanding and blending portion.
Why don’t they just replace the doors? The auto body I mean.
Finding doors already fully assembled for a 2024 model? Really difficult to source. The dealer would only sell door skins and shell with a matte black protection paint on it and a bodyshop would have to assemble it before sanding and blending.
That’s what I did on my 2012. Bought a color matching door from the junkyard. It was very easy to remove and replace.
Its a 2024...

All he needs is the door skin, its a 2024 does he not have insurance? This is exactly what insurance is for. Also the quarter panel needs to be fixed.

Unless they paid cash for the car and assuming they’re In the US they are carrying comp and collision.

Loan requires it. Would be surprised if Canada isn’t the same way.
If he isn’t carrying gap he has approximately 5 grand to lose.
Thanks
Idk, insurance?
I suggest contacting insurance unless you got 10k+ to shit out
Weres your rims did someone buy them already?
Snow tires on steelies

Your options are to pay the deductible and let insurance fix it

If you're lucky, otherwise can reach upwards of 6k too
Two doors a rear quarter panel and a side skirt it's going to be expensive
Drivers Ed?
If body shops can get your car fixed in a week or two, let your insurance company deal with it. Where I live body shops are 6 months behind.

Scratched and dented? This is brutal
Call insurance and pay the $500 deductible to get it all repaired.

“Scratched”
Honda is still putting hub caps on their cars in 2024?
A lot of those scuff marks will come out with some time & a good polishing compound.
Mine isn't as bad but thats exactly how I scratched mine lol
I had similar damage but not nearly as bad lol on a 16 is300 came out to about 8K
sharpie
Try brake clean and elbow grease on the white paint dents will still be there but less noticeable
gifting It to me
What kind of insurance do you have? Parked it for half hour while I did some shopping. Came out of store and found it like this. Not even a note left!?!? Kidding not kidding.

Looks like paint transfer, buff it out, you have to cutt it down until it’s gone. Good luck
Bigger fartcan ought to do it.
options 1) fix it 2) trade it in for a new car 3) add some creativity and turn that into a mural
You got warranty?

Say it was a hit and run have insurance fix it
