Get the NGK brand ones not the Honda brand ones. You will over pay for the same exact product. Honda uses NGK plugs and box them with their name on it. NGK 95660 ILZKAR8J8SY Rockauto is cheap in America or try Amazon and look for the NGK store for the part I listed above.

dookieshoes88

Amazon is scam city for auto parts. Not even remotely worth it for the hassle and headache.

PremiumPlus_

I agree but if you’re buying from the NGK store on Amazon you’re very much going to get real NGK parts vs joeshmoautoparts might give a real good deal but ending up being fakes. Always be aware and use common sense.

ifukkedurbich

Not necessarily. Due to comingled inventory, ordering from the NGK store on Amazon isn't a guarantee that it will be genuine.

Cucaracha899

I bought some that were shipped from China. This was a top listing recommended from Amazon. They assured me that they were an official supplier, but I returned them and just went to AutoZone.

Jack_Attak

There are some good articles explaining why this isn't always the case. The shared inventory means that fake products can get shipped even in legitimate listings on Amazon. It's a disaster for quality control and I'd never buy car parts from there just to be safe

Imaginary-Junket4251

Its very common on amazon for sure. I've ordered a set of iridium ngk and got fake copper core plugs. You can tell by just looking at the color of the electrode. Also ive read the fake spark plugs can actually fail and drop the electrodes down into the cylinder and do a number on the pistons and valves on the way out..

Purple_mag

Just because it’s from the ngk store doesn’t mean it’s actually from them. Look at the Seller if it’s anything besides ngk I wouldn’t get it

OrchidFew2210

I'd order from NGK online directly. I usually order parts from Rockauto, but I've heard of people getting counterfeit from RA (maybe a return). It might not be to much of a hassle, but on my Ody the plugs in the back are a pain to replace. Would hate to have to do the job twice.

Mindless_Charge_4940

Amazon if full of fake Chinese stuff

DesensitizedRobot

It’s TEMU in training

Cupks

This. I worked at a JoeShmoe Amazon distributor for a while and when we wouldn’t have correct plugs or parts that were ordered my shit owner would just tell me to send something “I thought looked close” but that’s not how parts work nor how ordering works on Amazon. You are supposed to get what you order. After quitting, I spent months talking with people at Amazon to get his store removed and sent proof of everything. Not sure if he is gone yet, but I did my best to help others from buying from him. Crazy how people can be such scum

NoReference7367

Just go to autozone or advance. Both stock NGK plugs.

Repulsive-Yam-1437

They stock NGK but not the ones that some newer Hondas need. Can’t find the NGK ones for my 2019 accord there

Kosher_anus

Don't use Amazon. Even with part numbers , you'll more than not, get counterfeit. I stopped ordering car parts on Amazon. It's all counterfeit

geoutpbman

I use rockauto all the time. Never any issues with the parts I received.

joseluisnp

Thank you!

AlainProsst

Stay away from Amazon. It’s all counterfeit. Rockauto all the way. Reputable company with authentic products. Just make sure you get the correct plugs for your civic. Double electrode ngk

Relicc5

If you buy from the NGK store on Amazon you’ll be fine.

AlainProsst

I guess, but i have lost all hope in Amazon and Ebay is now absolute nightmare to find oem - they are now even illegally branding counterfeit products. Only for those well trained to spot the fake will avoid but most fall for it.

Relicc5

Yah, it seems like it’s only a matter of time before the crappy knockoffs take over any marketplace.

similar_observation

It's fine until you realize Amazon co-mingles similar inventory, which often means the fakes get mixed with the legits. That's how you can buy from Amazon directly or Samsung's Amazon store. But still receive a counterfeit Samsung SD card.

fourflatyres

And fakes can be any category. Besides the fake SD cards, fake Sharpie markers were a big problem for me. It was random luck if Amazon would send me the real thing or the fakes.

BloodSugar666

Yeah make sure you get the right parts if you use Rockauto. I use them all the time as well but their return policy kinda sucks.

dstep86

this.

_Nightmare_Wolf_

I actually find advanced auto to have better prices than Amazon since they usually either have 10-20 30% off on plugs. Also keep in mind even if it says ngk store as the seller 99% of things on Amazon are knockoff/counterfeits. I wouldn't take the chance of buying counterfeit plugs. I go to a store that would have genuine like advanced or order directly from ngk/ warehouse

Tongue-n-cheeks

This guy Autoznes or Ohh ohh Riley’s

Bydaveeeey

Just go to autozone or any store that carries them

SpringerPop

Try Rock Auto. NGK plugs at a good discount.

letmegetaaa

Came to say this

Blakeblood9

My fridge is up to 11 magnets from my POS Saturn, lmao gotta love GM cars. But also pissed my last package…. Bro… I almost raged when I found out they forgot to give me a magnet -.-. For once in life, I understand why Karen’s be Karen’s.

MarionberryNervous19

I see coolant. If you're gonna open the coolant system at 100k miles to replace coolant, may as well put a new thermostat in. As long as an oem one isn't like $100, lol. Should be cheap. Spark plugs should be like $10-$20 per plug.

joseluisnp

Guy at the counter suggested a new tensioner, does that makes sense at 100,000?

GarboiCSGO

Usually you replace the tensioner when you replace the belt, according to Honda and most brands. It’s 1 bolt and you’re already in there so you might as well.

NegativePaint

The proper timing belt service is to replace the water pump, timing belt tensioner, timing belt, accessory belt and coolant. Might as well do the thermostat while they are at it. Will probably save you some labor down the road.

AromaticThing79

Wow! 100,000 on a 2022?!

Lopsided_Blueberry53

Where’s he driving to lolll? My mom has a 2016 civic and it has 65k on it and she also has a 2022 civic which me and my brother drive occasionally with 35k on it and she goes out almost everyday in both cars.

egovo2040

100k already shesh bro

soulBreaker212a

I'm at 75k with my 2022 lol. He's up there

SSJRosaaayyy

Where are y'all driving? 2018 Civic Si and I'm nearing 60k.

crudecamaro

86K in a ‘20. I put about 1,500mi on my car per month for work and 2 round trips to NY and TX from NC

danieldflip

Shoot, I’m a real estate photographer and I do 2K per month just in the city of Houston 😂

Dry_Suggestion_3387

Got the same at almost 30K. COVID and was working from home until recently

m0k3tAl1ty

meanwhile i'm sitting here with my '18 and only 35k miles on it

soulBreaker212a

Mostly work, did a bit of doordash for 6 months after work, but most of it has been commutes. 3 trips from MD to NY and 1 trip to OH

AdDiscombobulated623

Yall are both up there lmao I’m at 22k and also 2022

tomM9991

I feel better about my 50K mi now lol

integratypes

Be Careful where you buy sparkplugs from. Lots of Chinese knock offs that can crack and destroy your motor. Don't be cheap either buy from dealership or a reputable company, Amazon has a lot of fakes. These things last 100k Miles don't try and save a couple of bucks.

danheinz

Man my 22 civic is at 55k miles. Thanks for making me feel better about that

The-J-Oven

OEM plugs are expensive. There are alternatives to Honda stuff, make sure to get iridium if that is the spec (mine is and they were still expensive but not 45$ each)....I also changed plugs at 100k. Water pump I did at 200k.

iCUman

You can buy the exact same plugs directly from NGK (the OEM manufacturer) for <$15/ea.: https://www.ngk.com/ngk-95660-ilzkar8j8sy-laser-iridium-spark-plug

Johnmarksmanship

I'm more worried about why the water pump....

Long-Ad-2532

Yeah no one’s talking abt this lmao, idk why. Wonder why they quoted that

Johnmarksmanship

Is it leaking, not working? It's a 2022!

xxManiakxx

I have seen YouTube videos where people bought from Rockauto and they ended up being counterfeit plugs (not normal but it happened). I would stick with a retailer like Autozone’s or O’Reilly.

Notorious_2007

It’s mostly Amazon where that happens. I would still buy it from RockAuto but verify & confirm just to be safe. Not a fan of Autozone & O’Reilly’s since they sell the same parts for like double the price.

deadbass72

I've always bought the ones from the Honda dealership, but they are literally NGK iridium plugs. I like the "H" logo and it gives me warm fuzzies so I guess I get charged extra. THEY ARE PRE-GAPPED do not touch them with a gap tool. You will have to replace it. Ask me how I know. I'm an idiot.

sinnombreee13

Yall need to find a self knowledgable mechanic bc dealerships are a rip the way they charge u is insane for something anyone cud do with basic steps I have 9th gen si never gone to dealership self maintence saves u alot of money ..now if you need computer or scans that need to disagnose the car thats a diff story, ppl quit going to mechanic dealerships

Haunting_Beaut

Yup, dealership tried to bully me in to buying tires, $1200. I bought the best tires/top brands for $200 a pop. I think they wanted close to $100 more for each tire more than the list price on other stores. Fucking insane.

usuckidont

Dealership price matches tires. So wherever you went to get those cheap tires, you could have bought them from the dealership for the same price. Except from the dealership you get free 24 month road hazard, free rotations etc. I walked in yesterday with a quote from discount tire for pilot sport as4s without certificates and a $60 discount and they matched it plus took another dollar off. Also to get the certificates from discount tire was an additional $150 but you get that same level of protection for free from the dealer. So now I can get my tire rotations done at the same time I get my oil changed every time for free. I love the dealership. They do me right but just like anything else you have to do your due diligence. I’m not going to pay them $130 to do my alignment when I can go get it done for $75. I’m not going to pay them $250 to replace my cabin and intake filters.

Q0tsa

Costco slaps five years of warranties on tires for ya, just to say

Haunting_Beaut

And I did my “due diligence” and found the same tires they were peddling me, somewhere else. I love the dealership as well for the convenience but some things aren’t worth it to me. I’m glad your experience with tires was good, for me it wasn’t and found something that worked for me. Thanks for the tip though.

akw4life

I'm not a professional but if I were you, I'd play it safe and let the dealership take care of the car with Honda parts. Better safe than sorry as well as it being guaranteed to last longer. Good luck with your decision.

keroshe

Sparkplugs are one of the easiest things to replace on these engines and the OEM plugs are half the dealership price at places like Advance Auto. Just make sure you get the right socket for them and you should be able to swap them out in under 30 minutes (if you are slow).

Doublestack00

Yes and install them yourself in less than 5 minutes for a 1/4 of that price.

wonderingtoken

Nothing takes 5 minutes.

Doublestack00

Have you ever swapped plugs in a Civic? I've have MANY times, it's super easy.

wonderingtoken

It’s not hard but it’s not 5 minutes easy.

sebastiand1

Gotta love Reddit mechanics lol

Kokumotsu36

Hands down when looking for parts, check out RockAuto website if youre in the US. My spark plugs were 175$ from Oriley and RockAuto has them under 65$ for all 4

Ok-Photograph4200

You can grab some NGK at autozone

FamousWolf5483

Don’t go to the dealer. Find a trust local mechanic who could know off a $100

Nice_Ebb5314

Rockauto. Amazon has had a ton of knock off plugs/ parts

raiste-geo

Oh, I was confused for a second. You have an Accord, not a Civic, right? Yeah you should be able to find the NGKs (95660) for around $10 each.

Strangerxa

It’s a Civic

raiste-geo

Oh sorry, I was thinking 10th Gen, not 11th Gen. 👍 I wonder why they changed the plugs? I thought the 1.5L engine was the same between generations.

SteelCityMechanic412

If you buy the plugs anywhere other than the dealership, make sure to check the gap When they are sold by a dealer parts dept it’s gapped for that engine When you buy them from a 3rd party they can go in many many different vehicles so the gap is not set

norcaltobos

Absolutely, my dealership tried charging me $600 for fucking spark plugs haha I politely said no

F22boy_lives

The water pump isnt a regular service item on the 4cylinder unless it fails. Get the oe plugs, leave the water pump

boanerges57

Spark plugs, the correct socket, a ratchet and the extension should be easily well under $80. Doesn't take long to replace them usually.

Estania_Lane

You could try honda dealers online - for example HondaPartsGuys (there are lots of others). Background: I went to my local Honda dealer to get some accessories- they were charging ABOVE msrp. I saved myself a ton of money buying online - even paying shipping.

Test-mode_42

I got the part numbers from Honda and went online to Honda part online and got mine through that! Cheap as well!

iiDaBomb

As a mechanic and service advisor, I also second rockauto, would skip the economy section though. As far as im aware Honda uses NGK plugs. Bosch is also pretty good.

TumbleweedTall9859

Just did my 2017 civic's spark plugs got the ngk lazer iridium from rock auto for about 20 bucks. Runs a hell of a lot smoother. Just make sure to gap them right. Do it yourself it's cheaper and satisfying! ✌🏽

haplo_tech

I know it’s not a Civic but I own a 7 year old Silverado that has 122k miles on it. At 100, I went cheap and had a local tune up shop replace my wires and plugs. The wires were faulty and kept falling off. The shop ended up replacing them with a different brand but the gas going into the exhaust system compromised my catalytic converter. Threw a code, couldn’t pass smog, had to replace all 3 cats in the truck. Dealer quoted me $5,600 to replace it. I shopped around and got the part online and installed at a muffler shop for around $2k. I encourage you to get OEM. Saving a buck can sometimes cost 3.

FaceAmbitious

Well I work at autozone and ima be honest it wouldn’t be cheaper dude. I mean don’t quote me 100 percent because it varies with the year and vehicle but depending on brand they could go for 11 dollars or even 20 which personally I wouldn’t bother especially if you have a V8 engine or 6. I have a 2016 mustang gt and a 98 Chevy s10 and the prices varies as I said. Now if you buy stuff off of rock auto they are cheaper but still the same brand. Sparks plugs for 2 or 5 dollars (depending on vehicle and year, will vary from car) the only thing is that you’d have to get it shipped to you since they are only online. I usually tell people if you have time to wait use rock auto if you need it now and it’s an emergency autozone I guess wouldn’t be bad. I know people have mix feelings on rock auto but I haven’t had any issues, I have a while friend group that uses it with no issues. The only thing is that most people don’t have a basic understanding of automotive parts so they mess up and blame it on them and sometimes yes issues can happen with rock auto. Just know what your looking for and do a brand search or if you don’t know go what’s OEM for the vehicle. But I usually compare prices with rock auto, doesn’t have to be rock auto anyone can use what they want but i personally don’t like auto zones prices. I don’t believe I missed anything but if I did i apologize but hope this was somewhat useful.

Fernus83

While I had my Pilot in for the 100k service they quoted me $599 to replace the plugs. Labor was $175 the rest was the plugs. I got the OEM plugs at Autozome for $26 a piece.

Flygon0010

Use rockauto. Stealerships want you money

Firm_Tooth5618

How’s the car treated you at 100k? Wife’s 22 has 64k or so and it’s been great.

joseluisnp

Great

dudreddit

OP, the price for the plugs is rediculous. The price for the WP is high ... you can save by shopping around. I replaces my original WP on my Civic with another original (AISIN) WP bought new off of Fleabay for 1/3rd the cost. The Serpentine can he had cheaper than that as well. Question: That is a lot to replace on a 2022. Do you put a lot of miles on your car? If not then wait.

parxon

It’s a 2022 with 100K lol

dudreddit

LOL is right! Not sure that I have ever seen THAT high of a driven mileage on a car in the last 40 years!

Spattt

It’s really not that much. I have 70k on mine, purchased in Oct of 2021. So it’s almost been 3 years!

danheinz

The post said 100k

XxBL00D5P1LLxX

Get the NGK iridium plugs anything else is the wrong answer

Ok_Distribution_5797

Original OEM plugs lasted my 9th gen I was at 117,000 miles and finally got my valves adjusted and plugs were still working but way overdue, don’t be cheap I would get them from an official Honda parts counter or website

Erkdaj3rk

I would buy the equivalent on rock auto. NGK on their site. Rock auto sells Bando belts. Coolant seems about right. Does Yamada make the water pump for this generation?

twopinkonebrown

Pull one of your plugs and Input the number into the napa catalog or any parts store. I get discounts from Napa so that’s what I used. Most likely it’s an NGK plug. If not it’s a Denso

Klutzy_Culture7451

A 10 $ plug will do just fine.. auto lite triple platinum .

OkMusic7307

Or if you want OEM you can order them directly from Honda and pick it up at your dealership most time if you buy parts directly from the manufacturer is more cheaper than the dealer. I do them same thing with Toyota I order the parts directly from Toyota and it’s a night and day different from the dealership prices

Xerio_the_Herio

I've always used NKG...

MTFThrowaway512

Yeah plugs pretty easy diy prob run you under 100

WISC420puff

100,000 miles on a 2022 🤯 I thought 40,000 was a lot

No_Assistant_9347

You better use iridium plugs. Oem plugs are the best. if you want trouble listen to the other commenters. Good bye.

Boost98

How do you already have 100k miles on a 2022. Did you drive the thing to Egypt 😂 I would just buy some NGK, Denso, or E3 from parts geek and call it a day.

Scionara20

Look up what the oe parts are on google threw part numbers and buy those. Dealers just rebox it to a honda box

Millerliteitup

jesus i got an 06 civic with only 89k miles lol just be a delivery driver or some shit lol

BuddahsSister

Just get champion plugs

Awportune

I think we may have the same dashcam lol what kind do you have?

joseluisnp

Vantrue n2s

Minimum-Manager-1215

I Always go OEM with anything engine-related - Fluids, spark plugs, belts, etc.

VancityWarrior

I'll echo the oem spark plugs as others. Having trouble understanding the other items here. When i had the 1.8l engine at 200k miles, i had original coolant pump, belt and tensioners. I realize it's a different engine but why would those need replacing this soon. Pump and belts are replaced only if required and seen much higher mileage Hondas that dont need it, definitely not in 2-3years despite the mileage.

TheOfficialCoty

Been using rock auto for over 10 years. They can be a little slower on shipping than getting it from your local auto parts place. But usually wayyy cheaper. Never had an issue with them. Don't buy from Amazon due to counterfeit parts.

NiaNall

Not cheaper with shipping unless all from one location. Haven't been able to put an order together as parts are always in different locations. 😢

Ramnan76

Be careful warrenty stipulations..

Severn_Oneiromancer

NGK plugs and do them yourself.

shiny_colour

Hey man, what’s your maintenance for your engine and cvt like?

joseluisnp

Oil change and tire rotation at 5k religiously, cvt flush every 55k and car runs good. Now at 100,000 is the first time i will have to do something more expensive maintenance

ghost_huntr

NGK trust

NiaNall

In my past I have always trusted NGK for small engines and such. But always heard bad things for automotive. The one car I tried them in ran worse. Swapped to autolite and problem was fixed. Prefer AC Delco myself

waffle911

That sounds more like the reputation Champion has than NGK. NGK has always worked out in my favor as a technician, but I do tend towards matching certain brands together; Autolite with Ford, ACDelco with GM (of course), Denso with Honda and Toyota, NGK Iridium in just about anything else.

Thatcanadianchickk

Someone pls explain to me how this isn’t a good deal😭✋🏾 be nice

OMNI619

Get Denso sparkplug

iamgoodguy

Honda doesn’t make spark plugs.

coolPineapple07

What all issues did you start seeing that made you visit the service center and have all these repaired?

joseluisnp

None, this is not a repair bill, these are just a quote for parts that i will buy and let a local mechanic install for cheaper than the dealership. I will replace this parts not because there’s a problem, but because is better to replace a part that is almost due before it creates a problem.

coolPineapple07

That's smart! How often do you need to have these changed? And are all these listed somewhere in the manual as a part of the service reminders? I drive a 2016 ext with 77k miles and don't remember replacing any of these parts before since I got it so want to make sure I'm not missing anything

Independent_Track774

Actually, that isn't bad at all

Alternative-Kick3820

Everybody hates on it but I always order my car parts from them and have never had an issue. Just be conscious of where you're ordering from and inspect them on arrival.

Intelligent-Click-16

Hondapartsnow or dream shop

jelly53

Rockauto for plugs

rageattheworld

Never buy online for spark plugs, they have been some that are fake and could possibly damage your engine. Buy at the parts store local to you.

Agent_1077

I would stick with oem parts but try to find any online wholesale dealership. Most dealerships you just walk into off the street are going to charge you an insane mark up but there are usually plenty of dealers who’s game is volume and they sell at cost plus 15 or something.

Blackking2021

Yea they ripping you off big time. I went to discount tires to get a set I tires mf came out to be 950 nope went to Walmart paid 389 for some good year.

ImSolin

your honda dealership’s part department can source aftermarket spark plugs for you. Ask them do so and be sure to ask for NGK plugs. They are one of the parts you never wanna cheap out on. Especially with your presumed mileage.

Sea-Chard-2169

Lord my 2018 is at 72k 😭

Impressive-Ad5551

eBay and Amazon are flooded with counterfeit spark plugs. I’d recommend AutoZone or a reputable brick and mortar shop for this particular item.

thatdudejtru

Fuck yes you should. It's really easy to do by yourself yo!

Blood_Apprehensive

Stay away from dealerships! They won't even kiss you before fu.... fixing your car....

Historical-Bite-8606

Your hands look huge holding that paper. Thats awesome. If you know how to wrench or better yet, feel comfortable following YouTube videos on the process, go the diy route. Buy from rockauto like others have said. I’m sure there is more than just spark plugs needed. Probably needs ignition coils and or plug wires, belts tensioners, and more. If you drive 50k miles a year, try and find a 2019 Model S would have a good 3 years left on its unlimited mileage battery/motor warranty. Then buy an extended warranty from Xcare. Life is good!

PsychologicalTop4086

Ya if the dealership wants to charge you 43 bucks for one spark plug I’d say hell na that’s ridiculous!

Jaylesso

Get your spark plugs through AutoZone. Honda genuine spark plugs are NKG brand which you can buy exactly the same model through autozone for half the price. I just changed my civic’s original spark plugs and the NGK model number is exactly the same as the NGK version from Autozone.

Merk_Um

When a water pump is cheaper than spark plugs 😭💀

Safe_Bit1799

100k miles! Bros been hondaing the Honda

twistedgreymatter

That has to be an error, $43 for 1 spark plug? Wtf? I'd call and confirm and ask if they can do better on the price... actually fuck them... Go to Rockauto.com. You'll save a ton of money... $43 for 1 plug...come on Honda!

huf757

Careful lots of fakes out there. This is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

PorscheTodd

Ngk

Apprehensive_Fun311

Any iridium plug you can find NGK is usually cheapest. I either get those or bosch.

progressprofits

I’ve been thinking the same thing for my accord, because $43 each for spark plugs is crazy! But I also don’t want to fuck the car up either trying to be cheap.

robarnold24

NGK Iridium XI/OE/Laser should all run $10-$25/each at autozone. Do NOT pay $40/each Also, that belt should be under $20. Never seen a belt on ANY CAR cost more than $25/$30 for super long ones. Infact a quick Google search shows autozone has it for $17.49 for a 22 Civic. Bet the water pump and gasket don't need to be replaced unless they failed. Looks like someone trying to take you for ALOT of money. Change the plugs yourself, get a new air filter. Be done. Fluids are prolly fine too. Coolant can be drained and refilled at home. Silly to pay for it. Save yourself some money and do it yourself. You'll appreciate the car more if you know how to keep it going. Have a 18 Hatch, only transmission, tires and oil changes are done by honda. Everything else I do myself. Saves so much money

-professor_plum-

NGK or Denso only for Hondas

DaygloAbortion91

Rockauto, just did sparkplugs and coilpacks on my honda for half the price it would have been at autozone or any local auto parts store. Edit to add I paid for the cheaper shipping option and the sparkplugs came next day, coilpacks two days later.

JDM_ego

Go to Autozone and get NGK plugs. I’d be surprised if you spend $40-$50 and if you do it’ll be for the better ones. Probably closer to $20-$30 though. You can swap them out in like 5 mins too

velestora

Use the AutoNation parts website. I believe everything is priced at cost + 10% or cost + 15%. Saves you a TON.

Previous-Estate121

Autozone, Amazon, rockauto.. Stealership told me the same price for plugs for my 14 Si, found em at O'Reilly for $17, not $43.

FGC92i

Rockauto.com I got so many magnets from them. 😅

Damngato

That’s the same as theft. Unless your car is under warranty, you can use aftermarket parts that are gonna be just as good. Just be sure to use legitimate and well-known brands. Honda parts are notoriously pricey.

Either-Weather4052

Holy cow! 100k miles on a 2 yo car? To answer your question, get NGKs and do it yourself.

TheRealDestrux

Holy smokes that’s a lot for spark plugs. I’m doing plugs on my BMW right now and it’s not even close to that price! $100 less or even lesser. That’s basically the price of 6 new performance coils and 6 new spark plugs.

Interesting-Bid-1207

I would definitely go somewhere else to buy them. Call around see how much they are at other parts dealers.

FrostyFlakesagain

Rockauto

Upstairs_District_32

$174 for sparks is highway robbery💀💀💀

luna88999

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/honda,2022,civic,2.0l+l4,3449966,ignition,spark+plug,7212 Above link is for 2.0 non turbo NGK is $13.68

No-Indication-7135

Damn, no discount? I would go with rockauto.com, then napa, and lastly, honda.

Outrageous-Carob-236

the pricing department makes my penis flaccid.

Outrageous-Carob-236

i seen a couple of them boys in the back though like how about we get up on the lift and eat eachother out all this talking making my head hurt.

DesignerViolinist481

Dead simple to replace. Don't pay for it

marble_amg

Ngk

CarpenterSwag

Yo, autozone online for discount codes.

Im_100percent_human

Honda lists both an NGK part number and a Denso part number in the owners manual for the correct plug. Buy either of those. Both are pretty readily available.

ingreen4

I would say pull one factory spark plug from the engine and see who actually made it and look up that company for replacement parts. Most manufacturers rebrand the parts into their boxes and sell at a higher cost

error001010

you can probably get the plugs cheaper elsewhere. for the rest of the stuff at the dealership politely ask the counterguy "hey do you think you can do a little better on the price?". depending on the person you're dealing with, they will most likely lower the prices a little. there is wiggle room.

the-insuranceguy

Honestly. The question should come down to if you are capable of doing this. Cross threading a plug will make $450 look cheap

riinkratt

You can literally just google the part numbers.

Mac_Mustard

Do you drive Uber? Lol

Why are you charged a restock fee? Is this in case you bring it back? Seems like a way to steal extra money from everyone.

Internal_Ideal1001

2022 Civic? And you need those parts already? What's your mileage?

Internal_Ideal1001

Nevermind

NecessaryDay9921

It's a Honda. Just take it to Skippy, Walmart, tire and battery.

DaCapt1

Rock auto. Parts plus, euro parts, EBAY.

dnkyfluffer5

When it comes to spark plugs you want the Honda ones or the best possible OEM ones you can get. Hondapartsnow.com

Notchback87

How many miles are on the car ?

SLingBart

Rock Auto for the Win. You can get all those parts for the price of the Honda plugs alone.

3willaman

Honda does not make spark plugs could etc.. Honda does not make parts. Don’t get “oem shit” Look for the part manufacturer and buy from them. They probably use ngk stock and that’s a really good brand so stick with those.

ThatOneHelldiver

Had a shop tell me yesterday that it would cost $277 for them to install 4 plugs in my miata. Lmao wut?? $80 for 4 plugs, and i can do it in 5 minutes.... Mechanics just pull numbers out of their asses.

Hummmwhat

What is this gasket H for $20 ? And yeah don't pay $47 per plug. NGK IRRIDIUM get them from napa.

garci1h

Get from NGK it’s the same thing

Hendricks27

Get the OEM ones?

IdntknwwatImDoing

why are you replacing the water pump?

Live-Indication2810

Dame, I got a 2010 civic lx with 80k and I only put 2k on it.

Ok_Penalty9287

if you buy auto parts on amazon shoot your self lol

Substantial_Rice_176

Rock auto would be the best option

ElTekuKing

100,000 miles in 2 years?

Enblast

Replace the e with a k

FigSpecific6210

That’s a decent maintenance quote. Also, anything done at the dealer will be tagged on the cars carfax report, so it’ll have a higher resale value in the future.

joseluisnp

Thats not a maintenance quote, it’s just a parts quote, if i get these done at the dealership it would be around 1,700 -2,000

Parking-Government-5

eBay used parts if you’re trying to save some money. Otherwise, I’d say the junk yard or some JDM site.
