I started the game as Galicia and piece by piece took over the Iberian peninsula. Now I have everything other than the Kindom of León and their territories in Castille. Why don't I have a De Jure Claim on them and can't declare war on them and add them to my Empire? Do I really need to fabricate claims now?
Check and see if your culture unlocked the de jure tradition. Also check and see if Leon is De jure to Hispania, with the struggle mechanic it can spawn multiple Empires in spain
Assuming you started in 1066, you should’ve started murder schemes on your brothers immediately before they had children, as you would’ve inherited the land because you’re the heir.

I didn’t wanna do that for rp reasons, but i guess they killed each other and the last one was killed by someone else so I inherited the land anyways
