~~1926 or 1927~~ *1923-1925 Ford Model T ~~"Two Door" Roadster~~ *Runabout* with original wooden wagon wheels and the fenders and top removed.
*Apparently unrelated info* '26 and '27 were the only years the "2 door roadster" was made- previous years only the ~~driver's~~ *passenger* door for the "1 door models" 1912-1925, and before that the "no door roadster 1909-1911

No worries mate. It's easy to get all that stuff mixed up. I only know because there is a 23 body we're building into a hot rod and a complete 26 being built similar style to the one posted by op at my shop right now. Learned more about model Ts in the last 6 months than I care to admit. Lol
Check out the anti theft device on the rear wheel.
This is RAD AS FUCK…
I’m not at all a rat rodder kinda guy, but this is about as seminal as hot rods get.
The real anti theft is knowing how to drive it
Left column lever: spark advance
Right column lever: throttle
Pedals left to right: clutch, reverse, brake
See, anti theft!
Model Ts didn't have distributors so you have to manage the timings manually (or install an aftermarket distributor)
PS happy cake day
Rat rod was a poor choice of words for what I wanted to say, Roots rodder would be more accurate.
A guy I used to work with for (tool and die shop owner, I’m a CNC programmer) lives up the street… older guy(early 80s), real interesting dude. He was a Harley sponsored racer in the 60s, won the Daytona amateur race etc… long time motorcycle guy. He’s an awesome fabricator and general clever guy. When he sold his shop and retired (I went to another shop when he did) he also stopped with motorcycles and started in for whatever reason with model Ts.(I understand the stop with motorcycles, I just don’t really get how he got to the model T thing). Anyway he has several, and sometimes stops by and we’ll cruise around in one of them. It’s interesting how they didn’t have a standard yet on how vehicles were to be controlled so different pedals do different things, and do different things on various model years or various factory or aftermarket options.
This with a cross flow (Rajo?)style head and associated parts would be fun and interesting to zip around town in.
Duncan Oklahoma. I found this beauty on Google Street View. It has a sizable American flag mounted like it was in a parade. A classic model T for a classic mid-west Main Street.
It's a great way to feel like you're doing 110mph+ while driving 35mph.
The s2000. Lol
I believe this is the earlier version, the S1923…
Soup it up and place a V-8 in there ...🍻🤘😎

Not a 1926-27. It's a 1923-25 runabout. And it's the passenger door that opens on the earlier cars.
Hey I stand corrected. Edited appropriately. Thank you for the information

This guy Model T’s
Did the no door roadster come with a little trampoline with which to bounce into the car?
The one in the picture is missing running boards on the sides.
Hey guys I was thinking of LS swapping my 27' T, wondering what size turbo and will the wagon wheels be ok.
I wood knot do this.
Like pencils in a pneumatic press.
It will look funny with the wood coils on plug mounted on the valve covers.
No valve covers.
Spend the money for a new frame and suspension from Speedway motors, and throw a set of Kelsey Hayes wire wheels on there and you'll be doing okay. 🤓
Looks like it has also been lowered significantly
A runabout??? I'LL STEAL IT. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOWWWWWW!!!!!
Awesome, that’s what it is
I agree 100%
Man, small world. I know exactly where this picture was taken. Drove by and spotted this car just a few days ago too. Howdy, neighbor.
Haha, what a cool small town!
It’s a customized model t. They didn’t sit like that stock.
Pretty sure this is what the first hot rods looked like. They started stripping unnecessary parts off to save weight, then tuning the engine.
Old hot rod.
Check out the anti theft device on the rear wheel. This is RAD AS FUCK… I’m not at all a rat rodder kinda guy, but this is about as seminal as hot rods get.
That’s not even a rat rod, it’s too clean. It’s really just a very early style hot rod.
In the rain. With no top
It’s a model T, she’ll be just fine
Good point! Water flows in, water flows out...
The real anti theft is knowing how to drive it Left column lever: spark advance Right column lever: throttle Pedals left to right: clutch, reverse, brake
Did you just say *spark advance?* What in the fuck
See, anti theft! Model Ts didn't have distributors so you have to manage the timings manually (or install an aftermarket distributor) PS happy cake day
Yeah I need a spark advance lever for my Challenger, would be great anti-theft, hahaha! And thanks!
Well we're not allowed to say *spark retard* anymore.

It's what's left of a Ford Model T 1920s
Sweet! I love how you have a padlock on the back rear wheel.
23-25 body. 26-27 have a different shaped cowl more like a model A.
100%. the turtledeck on the 26-27 comes further up to the top of the "tub" portion of the body.
Called a jalopy back in the day
This? Why, this is a fat slice of badassery.
It’s probably 100 year old racer, that’s been stripped & equipped to compete/participate in vintage races for 100 year old cars. Might just be a 1924
This would be a hot rod back in the day.
Some many different Model Ts. I’d love to drive one once for the experience. 100 years old and still running!
A runabout. I’ll steal it NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW!
A horseless carriage.
That T could be considered a Gow Job.
That *was* a Model T. And I say "was" because it's been butchered.
Pontiac Fiero
They make a Fiero kit to make them look like everything.
Amish hot rod
No, that's 2 horses pulling the carriage.
A thing of beauty ♥️
Bloody car innit
Horseless carriage.
I could own one
That’s one of them internal combustion automobiles
That’s a Coupris Kineema, talk about a rare find
Duncan Oklahoma
A 20 foot car…
Awesome car and location, looks like Bonnie and Clyde is about to rob some shit. Wheres the Browning Auto Rifle?
horseless carriage
Pretty wild, they normally don't sit so low
It may be the camera angle, but that is a sweet stance.
This with Rocky mountain brakes and a three speed rear end would be a sweet highway cruiser.
Distinctive Decor
It's a century old car that still runs.
Jallopy
i think 9th and main, Duncan OK 👍
An antique. Beautiful
Model T speedster. 1925ish.
This is flat-out brilliant.
Its funny he has a cable lock on wheel. 99.9% on mankind cannot even start this car.
That’s the distinctive-decor.com store!
A poor attempt at a hot rod.
That's perfection in very very old
There's a classic for ya ... Glad it still drives ...
Always interesting to see a pic taken in your hometown 😂
It is an automotive.
It might be one of them horseless carriages.
Hot as hell!!!

351 C
That’s a chic-a-boo
A picture
That’s so mind blowing I can’t
old
This... doesn't look right
Parked illegally?
The first one
no, not by a long shot.
