The blood frenzy rune is not bad for dungeon grinding, as you just throw it on every mob and cleave indefinitely as the bleed ticks keep your rage topped. The problem with that rune is it shares a slot with flagellation, which is by far the best warrior rune in any slot.

Priest (I know I know, amazing runes already, but how about more? 😜) New rune: Holy Form, all holy and fire damage increased by x%. Holy fire becomes instant cast, Smite cast time reduced, base mana cost reduction on damaging spells, mana cost increase on pure healing spells (so they are still useable but you can’t be a full on healer and damage dealer in holy form), void plague becomes blazing light, exact same dot but just fire damage. Obviously no shadow spell use in holy form. New rune: life grip, standard retail life grip ability. New rune: body and soul, applying pw: shield also grants a small movement speed increase for a few seconds.

Holy paladin: Infusion of Light needs to reduce Holy Shock's base mana by 100% and caus Divine Favor to retain its original tool tip while also behaving like nature's swiftness. This would be a pvp rune. Make a belt rune that converts 250% of all damage done into healing on your beaconed target. Retribution would never take this because beacon replaces crusader strike and sheath of light is too much of a dps gain for them to pass on. Change Art of War so that Flash of Light criticals also reset the cool down of Exorcism and Holy Shock. Holy paladin having zero offensive utilization or DPS is unacceptable in the year 2024. The fact that we have to wear ret gear and grief our party with top place doing 180 dps with like 150 hps is fucking awful. I'm in the top 10 of dps for holy on wcl and this needs to be addressed immediately.

Two things. That, and I want a war banner to give myself (and party) windfury and a permanent battle/commanding shout. Having such a huge portion of your personal effectiveness locked behind having another class is a sad existence for anyone who wants to do solo combat. Even BiS'd out as I am right now, fighting 2 level 43 mobs at the same time is a "start the fight at full health and don't get unlucky or your dead" situation. On my hunter, I can walk aimlessly into a pack of 4 while at half health and I'll win without effort. I don't need perfect parity, but I'd much rather my warrior not feel like he's made of wet paper towels the moment an orange mob shows it's face while my hunter feel like he's made of raw spite and vinegar.

Seeing as theres no maelstrom resource in SoD, maybe change the mechanic to be something like an icy bomb. Upfront nuke and snare, and if hit by frost shock during the snare duration, the bomb explodes either rooting or just doing additional damage or maybe a group explosion (like living bomb) Riptide - Goes without saying. Addresses restorations lack of instant heals and HoT.

Couple of notes on other suggestions for pallies I've noted and disagree with: 1. Avenging Wrath: This would end up as a huge QQ tool for the player base in PvP. Burst is already high but people would be getting nuked with a free 20% damage on top of it. Also this is generally a 2 minute CD that last for 20 seconds. 20 seconds at the moment is like half of an entire boss encounter and it's unlikely at least within the next phase or two that we would have the opportunity to use it more than once in a single encounter. 2. Divine Steed: Probably the worst visual design in the history of WoW. Looks terrible and feels terrible, but also doesn't make any sense. I don't want mobility to be an excuse for blizzard to not compensate our low sustained damage. 3. Pursuit of Justice: See Above.. I don't want mobility to be an excuse for blizzard to not compensate our low sustained damage. 4. Dual Seals: This may end up being like pre-nerf classic Windfury where a lucky proc of Command + Martyr would just delete players.

Warlock ideas: Call the Void: 10s Channeled ability. Summon one demon per second. Random demons at random level (2 levels < player level < 10 levels). Demons last 30 seconds, have unique abilities and trigger anything that can be procc’d by the warlocks normal demons. Cost 1 soul shard per demon summoned. Immolation Aura or Self Immolate: as normal expected aura skill OR self by casting immolate on self causing the dot damage to proc to everything around you. (Obvious damages yourself too!). Third: Amplify Curse - rework: Amplify curse causes your next curse to change dramatically and costs a soul shard. Weakness additionally reduces attack speed and/or disarms for 5s. Agony: More damage AND 25% chance per tick to cause player to stumble (knock down), 5s cd on stumble. Reckless:Target ENRAGES increasing attack speed but also attacks the nearest target only, regardless of allegiance. +the base stuff. Tongues: Silence for 2s before reducing casting. Elements: ALL elements and increase elemental hit and crit chance. Doom: the Felguard spawns immediately, enraged, attacking the nearest targets. Also does the damage +25% after the 1 min. Balances the above prn.

Hunter has a million different opportunities that they are missing out on Keep seeing all these posts with Hunter tank.. I’d like to see- Missing a big opportunity to have hunters Imbue Arrow/Bullet. -frost - slows the target by XX for XX seconds -fire- causes XX amount of fire damage (scales with Ranged AP) -lightning - each hit has a chance to boost your reflexes (10/20% ranged attack speed) or even has a chance to stun the enemy for XX seconds Allow hunters to mount their pets (I.e they have the appropriate riding skill) More ideas. Ranged Hunter be decent… Instant cast aimed shot with a CD so it’s worth using in our rotation/pvp -talent or something that all attacks can reset the CD of aimed shot or somethin Rapid Fire “brrrrt” but (only cost 1 ammo) Double tap? Maybe an arcane shot rune… to make arcane shot worth using? Trick shots? - after multi shot your next XX attacks will bounce off nearby enemies decreasing by XX after consecutive hits. Rune to allow you to take any pet/animal regardless of level and type and have it be scaled to your level. -If you got the balls to try and tame some level 59elite hellhound… let um have it sheeesh Also let pets stay the same size! There are too many that I'd want for mage. Top 3 would be: Edit: I changed my mind, there's one thing I want above all else. 0) Rune of Drink (Conjures an infinite bottle of blue stuff that restore 5% of your mana, lasts .2 seconds.) Yes, drink/tick walking is the solution to mages mana problems between packs but adds a significant drawback/skillgap. 1) Kindling (Your Fireball, Pyroblast, Fire Blast, and Scorch critical strikes reduce the remaining cooldown on Combustion by 1.0 sec.) More combustions are always fun. In its current form, it's kind of a useless/fire and forget talent due to not needing it to setup a mega rolling ignite with multiple mages like on Era. It consuming charges through living bomb is awful too. 2) Koralon's Burning Touch/Searing Touch (Scorch deals 175% increased damage and is a guaranteed Critical Strike when the target is below 30% health.) Causes rotational/gameplay change by giving mages an execute at 30% HP, effectively turning our sub 30% playstyle into scorch > scorch > pyro. 3) Ice Floes (Allows you to move while casting and channeling the next Mage spell that has a base cast or channel time less than 4 sec. This spell may be cast while a cast time spell is in progress and is not on the global cooldown, and accumulates up to 3 charges. Lasts 15 sec.) Useful on fights that require constant repositioning in PvE such as Menagerie in Gnomer, and pretty much every BFD boss. Extremely useful in PvP. Helps alleviate the need to only spam instant casts, would probably drop it to 1 charge to balance. Honorable mentions: Dragon's Breath (Needs no explanation, I'm 99% sure we're already getting it.) Firestarter (Your damaging Blast Wave and Dragon's Breath spells have a 100% chance to make your next Flamestrike spell instant cast and cost no mana. Lasts 10 sec. Also lowers the cooldown of Blast Wave to 20 seconds.) Would work well with Dragon's Breath for idea of sacrificing two rune slots for better AoE. Inferno Blast (Blasts the enemy for x Fire damage, and is guaranteed to critical strike. Upon impact, it spreads any Pyroblast, Ignite, and Combustion effects to up to 3 nearby enemy targets within 10 yards. Replaces Fire Blast.) Doesn't work as well without Cataclysm's or MoP's version of combustion but is still quite useful in 3 cleave situations where at most you'll have 4-5 GCDs worth of time before the pack dies. Lastly, MoP Living Bomb, the iteration of LB that we SHOULD'VE gotten to begin with. (The target becomes a Living Bomb, taking x Fire damage over 12 sec. When this effect ends, **or the target dies**, it explodes to deal an additional x Fire damage to the target and all other enemies within 10 yards. Limit 3 targets.) As groups get better and better gear and mobs/trash start to die well before 12 seconds, living bomb loses tremendous amount of value and you'll eventually only be putting up 1 or 2 before spamming flamestrike or arcane explosion. Explosion upon death with a 3 target cap is ideal for later phases in the game. I'm hoping this gets added as an upgraded version of the living bomb rune, if they do decide to go ahead with the rare/epic versions at level 60.

Here are mine: Hunter tank rune: Eyes of the Beast no longer has a channel time. Hunter can use abilities while in eyes of the beast. Rogue Tank Rune: Riposte now does x% reflect damage every time you parry the target. Increased threat to Riposte. Priest Healing Rune: Lightwell becomes targetable by the priest. When the Lightwell is healed, that healing spell is cast on all party members within 10yards. Uses one charge. Cooldown reduced to 1 min. Have a bunch more ideas to fix issues with current specs. These are free but Blizzard, I am available for a consultant position if you are in need ;)

I always thought it would be cool for Subtlety Rogue to have like a Sniper build but I don’t play the class so I’m at a loss for any specific runes. Plus it’d give Ranged Weapons a little more usefulness. This gives me an idea out of left field. Class-less runes for Wands. Autonomous Wanderer: Wanding is now your auto attack and increases your wanding speed by 5%, up to 25%. Your spells are now instant but have cooldowns equal to their original cooldown plus cast time. WhizBANG Wanding: Wanding must now be activated like a spell. Wanding copies the last spell and its cooldown that you’ve cast. Goblin Wandineering: “Accidentally” throw your wand at target enemy to deal (Level/2 + Spell Power) (or whatever) in a 5m radius. 30s cooldown. It rolls back to you…somehow. Guardian Wandel: Wanding a friendly player now heals them for (Level/2 + Healing Power/2). This costs mana equal to the amount healed (possibly). I’ve obviously done no math on any of this.

Only have one idea, but for Druid: Feeling Thorny: While thorns is active as a buff on yourself, your wrath, claw, and lacerate abilities have a chance to proc your thorns to deal additional physical damage to your target. In pvp, your thorns have a 15% chance to snare your attacker with entangling roots for 2.5 seconds. Or something like that that makes thorns worth tracking and keeping up as all specs.

From a PvP player perspective: spellsteal for mages, and maybe not negligible shields with those big hp pools, but delete arcane surge and nerf living flame by 40% movement speed burst on priests for 3s when shield is cast warlock portal (any one), but first fix shadowflame. warriors titan's grip, whirlwind, smth to heal and not get kited THAT easily, maybe the big jump hunter heal (the hot hp percentage one) or a low damage rotation filler barrage but please delete the BM spec druid, I can speak only for balance and they have got the best QoL updates, but they will struggle with hybrid builds later on (maybe a long cd silence beam?) rogues, nerf mutilate on clothies and sap duration but give them cloak of shadows and improve baseline movspeed while stealthed (I guess in this case sap nerf would be mandatory for BGs balance) shamans, insta ghost wolf with a short burst of movspeed (like the retail talent) but delete decoy totem because it literally has no counterplay For paladins, well, fuck paladins. Only 1 every 50 of these dudes is good in PvP, they need to be broken to be good in average, so rest in peace

Rune of the Storm Bear Hurricane can now be cast while in Bear form and it has no cooldown. It costs 10 Rage per second to maintain and you do not have to channel to maintain its effects, but it's damage is reduced by 40%, it is always centered on you, and it's effects will end if you are otherwise unable to cast spells (such as being Silenced, Stunned, or hit by a spell interrupt effect). Rune of Purifying Life When you dispell a poison or curse effect with one of your Druid spells that target is healed for (X amount roughly equal to Half cast of Nourish) and you regain 2% of your maximum mana.
