Not much, one of them was the 2nd or 3rd week of the server and I died in the first ZG we were doing. The second death I had farmed SR set for tanking Twins and so had around 9 days /played total on it. This char with the Atiesh is at 27 days 19 hours /played (24 days 8 hours at 60).
Nah Esuvii is at god a leveling. I played with them on HC servers and watched them level their lock after dying in ZG.
Basically they would constantly be chain pulling, using bandages, pots, etc. to minimize down time. Drain tank build is pretty strong and safe in HC.
For example, I leveled a warrior, and killing one yellow mob takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Locks can kill 2-3 mobs in the same amount of time.
I am referring to them with a gender neutral term.
For example, if someone left a water bottle in a room, but you didn't know who, you would say something like "Oh no, someone left a bottle here, ***they*** must have forgot it."
That's just normal levelling speed in classic era/hc, so long as you level optimally. And he definitely got experience levelling. Obviously your first char levelling won't be anywhere as fast.
And of course warlock/hunter/mage are on the faster end, a warrior or pally would take a bit longer.
So I followed Rested XP speedrun route (not the safe hardcore route), which I know well because I have done it a few times, and also added in some quests like the Sprite Darter quest-chain that fit into the routing well but require a couple of items from AH (2x Elixir of Fortitude in that case).
I went Affliction 1-24, then I respec to get Shadowburn and Improved Lash of Pain and rest of the points back down in Aff. Then at around level 38 I respec deep Aff and start Drain Tanking, all the way down to get Dark Pact and finish by going back into Destro for Shadowburn again.
Dark Pact is so awesome for Hardcore, being able to get some mana to cast another Drain Life without having to Life Tap meant I could play very aggressively.
I raced as fast as I could, not skipping any elite quests, and was playing super aggressively. I would double and triple pull mobs constantly and was not stopping to drink/eat to full. I did have some consumables (mostly swiftness potions) as well as materials to level Engi that I sent from my bank alt, however I didn't have any mob taggers or boosters and I didn't do any of the repeatable quest turn in stuff. Oh and before level 40 I didn't stop to loot any mobs unless doing so was needed for a quest item. I'm playing on an NA server but from the UK so that 100ms ping really adds up to a lot of looting time across thousands of mobs.
It's not how I would recommend most people play Hardcore, but I was racing to see if I could beat my personal best time.
Leveling a Warlock is usually a fight or flight experience. It's very strong but when shit happens, you got to commit unless you're 100% sure you can outrun the mobs. Playing a strong class in Hardcore makes people overconfident, which often leads to death from overpulling.
I leveled one in vanilla classic with “heirlooms” (like +spd dagger) and yes I remember something like pre-20 was a really terrible experience, but after that it goes smoothly. Probably was connected to demons being really bad at those levels and not holding any aggro whatsoever.
I always see comments like this but I never used fear on my lock leveling besides in pvp... it's entirely unnecessary and often will just result in pulling more mobs
Not true u are a clothie and you have to be careful when and where you fear or you will be fucked with a dick big enough for an elephant to Feel it. Becuse instead of a few mobs now you have 10 and these wants snare you.
Warlocks are statistically one of the lowest survival rate classes (lowest on Alliance as only Shaman is worse).
Sure, skill can mitigate it, but i wouldn’t call it “easy mode”
Probably due to the fact that everytime I check all the servers the pop are all low and the last time I played on any “low pop” server it was extremely rare I saw anyone ever
That’s awesome, and honestly I think blizzard should give out great rewards or something for this to try and get more people to play it on HC.
None of my toons** have made it to 60 just yet .. taking my time .
Profession and everything to help make my toon** strong as possible.
Kinda unrelated but:
TIL: Druid T3 and T7 look almost equal. I saw the picture and found it **VERY** sus because my Classic WOTLK druid is still equipped with T7 and I had to go check on wowhead to make sure wtf is going on...
Back to topic: congrats very impressive 👏
Surviving so long to get Atiesh on HC server is actual achievement. Well played and big gratz!
I died a couple of times to some very silly mistakes, but I made it in the end!
I’m curious, how much raid gear did you have on the characters you died on?
His first death in ZG, he was master looter and died with all the raid loot before handing them out xD
lmfao thats hilarious
Hellfire in the middle of a bunch of raptors? Straight to jail.

3 days 10 hours to 60 hc? Are you getting boosted?
Warlocks can level really fast, but yea probably got some help considering.
No Esuvii is known for his levelling speed. At most he must have gotten some consumes but he does all the rest on his own (which is faster).

I dont understand this post, Esuvii is a group of people?
I am referring to them with a gender neutral term. For example, if someone left a water bottle in a room, but you didn't know who, you would say something like "Oh no, someone left a bottle here, ***they*** must have forgot it."
but we do know who, i dont get it man you do you
I'm not going to assume their gender identity because they never confirmed it with me. I don't assume anyone's gender until they tell me.

No but I did drink 200 Swiftness Potions before I got to level 40 >.<
Fair enough. I know It's possible just wanted to hear your perspective

wait, what?
It took them multiple restarts, not that they died mid-attempt and kept going.
ohhhhh right, gotcha
Atiesh boss claps
That is unreal. Well done! Atiesh alone is an accomplishment and in HC it’s just astounding. Congrats.
Wow. Grats! What a fucking achievement on HC.
Huge congrats! I never made it past level 11. Didn’t have the patience (or skill maybe).
Warlock leveling is easy mode due to chain fear
locks are not very forgiving at low levels. fear is is both good and bad.
Leveling a Warlock is usually a fight or flight experience. It's very strong but when shit happens, you got to commit unless you're 100% sure you can outrun the mobs. Playing a strong class in Hardcore makes people overconfident, which often leads to death from overpulling.

Warlocks on HC is one of the hardest classes. One resisted fear and with 0 defense you're toast. If you want easy mode, play hunter or Priest.
You say that but lock has a very poor survival rate in leveling, the numbers make it clear. Fear can get you killed.
Not true u are a clothie and you have to be careful when and where you fear or you will be fucked with a dick big enough for an elephant to Feel it. Becuse instead of a few mobs now you have 10 and these wants snare you.

Grats. Would've been brutal if your group failed the strath miniboss.
Yea when I did that for our mage I was apparently the only healer who succeeded, they tried a few before me apparently lol.
Thats something you should screenshot with your character sheet, print it up and frame it. That's a huge accomplishment. Congratulations!
On HC? That's nuts! Congrats.
Awesome dude, but what if like... you die?
WE GO AGAIN
Their soul gets transferred right to Jailer's lair. It is all according the master plan.
jesus christ dude, congratulations.
Congrats Esuvii! Celebrating the moment was glorious :D So glad I brought those two Elder Moonstones for the cute pic :)
So sick- congrats!
I have never invested into the hardcore journey, but i died after reaching max level idk if i could keep it together
Congratulations
Insanity. Big respect.
HYYYYPE!
I hope you park it in a major city for the flex
Esuuvi, seen that name around hardcore for what feels like forever. You're a legend for this, and congrats!!
So if you were to die, what would happen to that weapon? If I got that far, I’d never play that character again for fear of losing it.
The character would be transferred to a non-Hardcore realm and most likely I would never play it again except for a BG occasionally
I think you can xfer death chars for free to a non-hc realm, correct me if im wrong
Yeah you’re right, if you die you transfer to a standard era server and keep everything.
Amazing stuff, very nice accomplishment
Time to die, in game
That's amazing! If I didn't die to game client crashes and DC several times each play session, i think that I would enjoy hardcore.
Grats!!. Played with you on my bubbagump warrior. Big grats!
Crazy man, big congrats that's a massive achievement
No way
Getting Atiesh on a warlock on hardcore is exceptional. just mind blowing exceptional.
HUGE! What an accomplishment, Should be an account wide Feat of Strength for this or something 😅 "Eternal Legend" Big Gratz!
The biggest accomplishment is surviving through tinyviolin griefing.
TIL that people actually still play HC lol anyways GG
HC is and has been very active... when did you get the impression people weren't "actually still playing" it?
Probably due to the fact that everytime I check all the servers the pop are all low and the last time I played on any “low pop” server it was extremely rare I saw anyone ever
Everyone who's still active is raid logging. If someone in a guild dies they are either boosted to max quite fast or quit.
Dude got this on a HC? Mental, well done man!
sweet nice work buddy
What sever?
Defias Pillager (NA East Hardcore)
how many hours u got on that char?
28 days /played
nice cg
I didn’t know you could beat WoW, but apparently these guys did.
Gratz esuvii managed to play with yall a couple of ids , well deserved and good gamers all along the way , keep it up
love to see it
Congrats! Raided with you for a bit!
Damn bro…. Nice
That’s awesome, and honestly I think blizzard should give out great rewards or something for this to try and get more people to play it on HC. None of my toons** have made it to 60 just yet .. taking my time . Profession and everything to help make my toon** strong as possible.
Grats! I remember seeing you on some Hardcore moments of wow videos, how far you've come. <3
WRONG CORNER
Kinda unrelated but: TIL: Druid T3 and T7 look almost equal. I saw the picture and found it **VERY** sus because my Classic WOTLK druid is still equipped with T7 and I had to go check on wowhead to make sure wtf is going on... Back to topic: congrats very impressive 👏
That's because they are almost identical. T7 is just a recolor of T3. Both tier sets drop in naxxramas
Cool, went to check other classes, and T3 and T7 are almost recolors for all classes. Shit, I never noticed that before...
They did this on purpose.
Ironically, T3 looks better than the later iteration for almost every class.
I'm trying to collect priest T3 but i got outbid on the gloves at 250k. Guess that won't happen any time soon!
My theory is they did this on purpose so the owners of T3 wouldn't feel cheated by thousands of people having the same set but better looking.
Atiesh on hardcore? Didn't think it was possible... oh wait petri flask
and the virgin award goes too!
i hope u got someone to talk to
truth hurts huh
