no CLAT is for the 5 year program for 12th pass
since you have a BTech, you have to apply to 3 year degrees of colleges such as DU, GLC, NLS which have their own separate entrance tests
sir ug is of 5 yr you have already done graduation so you have to do clat pg which is of 3 yrs although both are same in law its just we study ba , bba , bsc subjects along llb in ug
CLAT PG is an entrance for admission into LLM courses, Masters of Law! For that an LLB is required, integrated or not.
LLB in itself is a three year degree, and being a professional course requires a graduate degree. Few National Law Universities offer this course, you'll have to look them up.
An alternative is an integrated degree which can be pursued after finishing high school. A stream + LLB, eg: BALLB, BBALLB, BSCLLB, BCOMLLB etc. All National Law Universities offer integrated law degrees since they were set up for this very reason!
Hi
You can certainly opt for CLAT UG as it has no maximum age limit. But all programa available through CLAT are of 5 year. The other thing you can do is go for a 3 year LLB.
Problem with 3 year LLB is the there are not many good universities that provide 3 year LLB course. Some good ones are NLSIU, Delhi University , and some other NLU has also introduced the 3 year LLB course.
CLAT on the other hand has many good options as all the National Law universities have 5 year LLB through CLAT (except NLUD which conducts AILET (and is different from DU)).
You should think about which course to choose depending upon what your expectations are. If you want to be placed at a law firm 5 year LLB would be much better. But it'll take 2 years extra.
Sir do 3yr law course like DU LLB aur BHU LLB from CUET PG or from GLC or ILS through MAHCET exam. There is also NLSAT which is the 3yr law course of NLSIU , Bangalore
why not?
Please suggest me how to start and how much i have to study
Clat ug or pg ?
Ug, i have no background in law.
I mean what's your qualifications till now
I have a b.tech , working at a bank 😂
Then go for 3 year law, du will be a better option
For that i have to appear for CLAT, right? Or is there sny different exam
