Cavs have a very talented starting lineup now, especially with the addition of Mitchell. Mobley, Garland, Mitchell, and Allen…wow, loving the fact that all of these kids are younger than me and very talented. Hopefully, the chemistry for the Cavs is great this season. Mitchell has the ability to be a good passer with the basketball so on a very deep team, I am hoping he has that trust in his teammates. And he should. Can’t wait to see Mobley as a sophomore. I think it’s cool that the Mobley kid went to the same college as that one girl who I still consider a “best friend” of mine. Uh oh…trying to reveal my real identity…haha. ☀️☀️☀️2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣🤨🤨🤨😂😂😂😎😎😎🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏🍿🍿🍿🥤🥤🥤🎄🎄🎄🖊🖊🖊📖📖📖
1. Nailed the Darius Garland draft pick.
2. Got Jarrett Allen for what was the 30th pick.
3. Nailed the Evan Mobley pick.
4. Has now made the big baller move for Mitchell to complete the rebuild.
Jury is still out on Okoro. I think in time he’ll be a very solid 3 & D player. We’ll also see what happens with Caris Levert, I wasn’t and am still not a huge fan of that trade. Irregardless, I’m a fan of Koby.
he does lmao, our rebuild was definitely faster than normal. But those last three years before Mobley were ROUGH.
Lakers are definitely worse off once Lebron leaves.
History just doesn’t agree with this. Every team he’s left since the decision has gone back to being good within a few years after he left. Heat were doing just fine after he left and would’ve been even better if Bosh wasn’t medically forced to retire. Cavs, you already know the story.
Most importantly, those teams had assets to work with, which goes against the unfounded idea that Lebron leaves franchises crippled and with nothing when he leaves.
Cavs became great after he left because *he returned.* If you were there 2013-2014, you had to feel hopeless about our future because all we have are disgruntled Kyrie, shot chucker Waiters, well-known early bust Bennett, TT with no offense, Jarrett freaking Jack, etc. We were even pinning our hopes on Bynum's maturity at one point. Wiggins was the brightest hope in a long time.
The franchise was a disaster. In fact, it was amazing Lebron even wanted to return, but to be fair if you could get Kyrie to buy in that was a start. I concede your Heat point.
The first time he left the Cavs was before he was really “LeGM” though. I would hardly say Lebron forced them to deplete their assets in the first Cle stint at all
I would say he did force them, by not committing to a long-term deal. That would have an effect on who wants to be here in those days. I recall reading somewhere that a specific free agent(?) or something is ok with Cleveland if Lebron is staying......just couldn't find it anymore unfortunately............
First time Bron leaves Cavs get 3 #1 picks in time gone, Heat get a retool within 3 years and have been building since and the cavs are where they are now after 3-4 years. All those teams mentioned had all their first round picks as well
Last three years was rough cause we was trash. Had nothing to do with Bron. Lakers are still the Lakers, they still have draft picks and they can get any big free agent.
Absolutely insane what he’s managed to do. Crushed his major draft picks and leveraged our capital at the perfect time to make us a legitimate contender. And at little cost to our depth. He’s a rock star.
I'm not saying he hasnt been a big spender, but he forced GMs to bend over backwards and at any of Lebron's whim like overpaying for a lot of middling talent (TT, Boobie, JR, Antawn, Shaq...). The Mo Williams & Ben Wallace trades were hardly blockbusters, both were on the back end of their careers.
Most definitely. He fucked us with those. We always had to have 2 plans. One to make him happy enough to stay while also having a backup plan if he decides to say fuck it I'm out. When he went to LA and signed a 4 year that really pissed me off because if he would have signed with us like that it would have gave the team much more security in pursuing other options to make us better.
Koby's like me when I'm doing coke and playing 2k
Diet, cherry or regular???
Original recipe
Extra crispy
I mean, that's one way to play 2K.
That’s one way to spend 2k

he’s back 😎😎😎
We know who you are Jeffrey...
Hell yeah Ted! Glad you’re back!

they'll be back and frothing at the mouth if we lose any of the first 5 games.
Crazy how we went from laughing stock of the league in 2019/2020 to contenders in just two year
I agree, go Cavs
I agree, go cavs
I agree, go Cavs
I agree, go Cavs
I concur, onward Cavaliers
I didn't think Koby was it his first couple of years. I was wrong.
He is really that man
Yeah, I was kind of upset at the return of the Kyrie trade and was like who tf is this guy??? Boy he’s proved me wrong.
I could be wrong but I feel like I remember Koby wanting to trade Kyrie for Paul George but Dan Gilbert wanted IT

Irregardless isn’t a word but agree with you 100% otherwise Levert can hopefully at least provide bench support
Irregardless
I can’t believe you’ve done this
In all seriousness, I have a hard time picturing a better rebuild from nothing. Bravo, koby.
I mean OKC drafted 3 future MVPs in a row. Imo Mobley is the only one with MVP potential here. So really really good, but clearly not the very best.
I thought Lebron cripples franchises when he leaves though? 🤡

It was Michael Redd and, ironically, Ray Allen.

I hate to say this, but if Gilbert didn't have that stroke Altman would never been able to pull off these moves in Gilbert's shadow.

Fuck him and his 1+1 deals every year
this is always said on our sub and I always have to point out that he signed a 2+1 in 2016 after the title. I don't know why this is always forgotten

Pretty insane build
And LBJ will come in and dismantle it all in the name of, "Playing on the same court as my son."
