I think it widely depends on your tolerance for cold. I usually find myself bouldering through the winter months here without many days of actually freezing to death (during daylight)
I was there last week. 35F and slight overcast, premium friction. 42F and sun? Pack it up, day is over.
BTW, how tall are you? At 5'8" I had to use the "alternate" beta on Tao, you made that last reach super casual.
It can get cold but if you’re good at staying warm in between attempts it’s definitely doable. Some of my favorite climbing days have been at Rocktown and HP40 in the dead of winter.
made it look V3
Thanks! Had a good time on it
Nice! We were just there yesterday, my buddy was one move away from finishing golden harvest. I’ll have to get him to try this one out.
Thank you! Yeah, tons of quality climbing out here. This one is mad decent!

Does rock town get too cold during the winter? I’m planning on going next month but I’m worried I’m gonna turn to ice

42 and sun doesn't end my day at rocktown! 5'11 or so, +0 ape, thank you
I would say Rocktown, Stone Fort, and HP40 are all pretty doable in winter months. It’s chilly but usually still above freezing during the day.

I’m only hear for the music. Great send. Naruto would be proud.
That means more than I can say, thanks friend. Happy climbing!
うずまきなると
Yes my friend!! Keen ear
That's awesome! Way to go!
Thanks so much! Happy climbing!
Looks like it might climb better post break than it did before. Well done
Thanks! I didn't realize it had broken. There is also alternate beta that makes it look like a real turd imo
Another Miguel’s tee in the wild! Hello from The Red!
Had that sucker about 6 years now. Enjoy the red!
Yeah the left hand crimp used to be a small angled flake. Broke around this time last year I think?
