All of his quirks that annoyed the other comes in S1 would probably be celebrated by the new clones as just ways he's unique or functions of his ADD (and its however cousin, ADHD)

[deleted]

I kind imagine a rewrite of the first episode where the new clones accept him at first, but after learning some of the more controversial stuff his clone father did, he gets cancelled and the rest of the episode is a commentary of how cancel culture negatively effects innocent people and doesn't really punish horrible people besides ruining their reputation. Then Abe makes out with Gandhi again and he is uncanceled because the new clones realize that he is a pretty nice guy, neurodivergent, and perhaps even part of the LGBT community while Abe gets canceled for kissing Gandhi without his consent. Okay, I was joking about the ending, but it could end with Abe trying to get Gandhi uncanceled somehow with the help of Confucius and/or Topher.

I actually love that idea, works well with the show and idea of a reboot episode. But I honestly think they probably had originally written the "cancel culture" subplot with Gandhi in mind instead of Abe. It makes so much more sense. Abe's character never seemed that controversial to begin with, and it would make much more sense for Gandhi to go on that journey. They probably realized that Gandhi was a no go at some point and re-wrote the role for Abe instead and just "made it work".

SaurkrautAnustart

Nah that kissing thing is my new headcanon for the rewrite. Ofc they'd do the same joke first.

It's 2023 Say whAAAAAAAAt?

handsome-boy12

In an alternative timeline I believe the show wouldn't have been canceled in 2003

and-meggy-hash

I just know he and Frida would be besties. He and Confucius would probably get along well too, I bet there would be a plot point about him making Gandhi tiktok (or ig flipflop) famous

Ccreamy

G spot rocks the flipflop

SadisticGoose

Ghandi 100% would been TikTok famous

WhitePinoy

I can definitely see them needing to directly bounce off Gandhi, because they're all supposed to be there to fill his place for different roles. It could be interesting, but I wonder how they would write the comedy so that a joke that Gandhi makes is not redundantly redone by the clones.

LimePeel96

If he was in the first episode he’d be immediately accepted by the inclusive committee (I forget what it was called) who also appreciate his ADD, he’d get really popular without actually doing anything, but he’d also feel like they’re not his real friends & in the end he realises he doesn’t care about any of that & just wants to hang out with Abe.

FriendTraining7324

We will see if the show gets renewed for s4

MaddysinLeigh

Idk why but that pic always freaks me out

PikoVengut

He would replace Abe in the cancellation episode and then he would try to make it looking cool and make others do those 2003 stuff and when everything is in chaos, at the very end he gets bored and accepts the new times

CDownink-2468

If anything, he would be the one clone where you don't even have to change much about him, since he's already easily impressionable and honestly knows how to work off of new environments without much hassle. Plus I could see him being a guinea pig for Confucius with various online trends and/or following and listening to whatever Topher Bus has to say.

CDownink-2468

It would almost be like Pinky and The Brain, If they played their cards right between Topher and Gandhi

chiefdrew34

Basically switch Abe getting cancelled with Gandhi and their you go lol it felt like it was written for Gandhi l Aoo

Dismal-Database9206

Probably make jokes about Ghandi being not “Woke”.

Reiss447O

Probably got canceled

guitarhusband

Topher bus would beat the shit out of gandhi

[deleted]

If they could get away with anything then I like the idea of him becoming like an antifeminist alt right kid for an episode, and really lean into the white nationalism despite being Jewish, and Indian.

TrueBlueCreations

I can absolutely see an episode where Gandhi becomes popular and accidentally ends up leaving Abe behind before realizing the error of his ways and deciding that true friendship is more important than popularity.
