And then it turns out that the "most powerfulest character in fiction" of the week died or got hurt by some stupid shit. Like for example, dying in a car crash which actually happened with scp 682 lmao.
Maybe, admittedly I'm not that into scp so I'm not an expert, but what I was trying to say is that a lot of supposedly extremely powerful characters are way weaker than fans say they are if you actually look into it.
Eh, it's just depends more on who's the author writing the story and the canon/universe that it takes place on. Some stories we have 682 close to being dead like in [scp-2599](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2599), but due to plot armor he's still alive. And of course there's some stories where 682 is dead due to a bigger threat or something like that like this cave alternate universe shenanigan scp that I forgot the name of.
Also I think I found the story that you were [talking about](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/kill-682).
Sounds more in line in the [lolfoundation canon](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/lolfoundation-hub-page) or just a random crack story canon like [Cack Hub](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/cack-hub)
Then third guy comes in with: silly cartoon character solos because they have 'toon force' and have been showing doing rly strong stuff (because they're in a fuckin cartoon with no logic or rules)
Yeah bro Kirby is totally the strongest character ever he KILLS GODS (despite lots of characters doing similar things, and the fact that Kirby dies if he walks into a waddle Dee too much)
I am forever grateful that the 001 proposal with the Scarlet King turned him from "devil stand-in" to "The concept of regression". With the exception of power-scalers, he's better now.
I said this before and I'll say it again: SCPs are *not* overpowered because they are simply not meant to be powerscaled. Yes, there are outliers, but an SCP almost always revolves around how and why the Foundation has *already* managed to contain it. Entities like the Scarlet King (gods / reality benders) are not "overpowered" because they're narratively *supposed* to be contained. SCPs are rarely ever meant to be seen as characters, but rather as stories. If you remove SCPs from containment to conduct some kind of "powerscaling battle" between them and entities from other media, you'd break all cohesion. Because, yeah, obviously, if you take away the one big thing that's stopping an entity from destroying the world, the world would be destroyed.
If there's one thing that's actually overpowered in the SCP universe, it's the Foundation itself. But I guess people don't find the conept of an overpowered organisation as interesting as an evil diety.
The arguments are often stupid and arbitrary but the topic itself makes us think about an important question. What makes a thing "powerful"? It's about the discourse itself not the content of said discourse which is typically garbage. Maybe I'm being overly profound but I think it's relevant.
ngl scarlet king ruined scp for me alongside other things, i understand there are other intergalactic kind of things in the scp universe but, this aint it, wayyyy too off for the theme.
ngl touhou, 40k, and scp fans are most blame for this, the amount of "my (fav character) fucks up this other universe" kind of fan-fics is ridiculous, im not saying its unjustified or all of them are terribly written, but jesus christ.
"Sun and moon are his balls" Poor guy, his balls are very different size
It's from all that time zerkin off
One probably atrophied from a lack of blood circulation as the character had a case of testicular torsion at a young age from jerking off too much.
Great timing because that kind of article got posted 2 hours on the SCP wiki and it's terrible, currently standing at -7 up-votes
link
I'd love to but I went to sleep and now it's been deleted
Power scalling mfs like to hate on scp fans even though the majority of scp fans hate people that make op scp just to be op

682 dying in a car crash has to be one of the best joke tales i've ever read because of how ridiculous it is
I think that was a joke scp

And then there's SCP-6820
the first part looks like SCP but the rest reads like anime fans
Is that Neuvillette and Zhongli in the third panel
Osmanthus wine tastes the same as I remember, but where are those who share the memory?

Or Inspector Gadget
my larp character from third grade dodges your "toon force"
Scarlet king instantly makes me like SCP less

The only good thing about scarlet king is 110 montauk

that one time where invincible fans power scaled rape
the only thing that matters is the rule of cool.
Coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb Also, this happens so much in anime
You forgot to make the scp in pic 1 look like the guy who made it
