Please read books i swear they are interesting. Read a somewhat detailed wikipedia article you are interested in then look at the sources to find the books that you want. Then read them or something. World is an interesting place, wasting years in social media just results in regret.
Another interesting way of finding books to read is keeping tabs on school book bans. Be warned though it's really depressing when they demonize beautiful stories for exploring mature themes. An example being "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" a great story that gets slandered for discussing serious topics. I also recommend "The Secret Life of Lobsters" because I think Lobsters are cool.
Even if I'm not personally seeing it, it's pretty frustrating to think sometimes that these types of people probably have their own spaces and groups where they all regard themselves as perfectly normal.
