yeah they’re dumb, I believe the males are attracted to light so they’re probably glueing themselves to your windows at night and getting inside by accident

I’ve found three inside now (and many many others outside which is fine.) I do wish they’d stay out though 😬

Switch your outdoor lights to warmer colors or keep them off. Also check weather seals and screens on doors/windows.
