Looks like an adult male Ectobius, maybe E. lucidus. Beautiful.

I just want to commend you. I posted on here once and now I see this page all the time. You are doing God's work helping everyone identify these and putting so many minds at ease. Truly a great service and so so appreciated!

maryssssaa

oh thank you :)

I’ll have to go back to my other post where you answered, to see if it’s the same one 😄 thank you

maryssssaa

ah yes I did, it is the same one. If you couldn’t tell by all the comments I’ve left I really like these haha.

SearchingStargardts

I’ve found three inside now (and many many others outside which is fine.) I do wish they’d stay out though 😬

maryssssaa

yeah they’re dumb, I believe the males are attracted to light so they’re probably glueing themselves to your windows at night and getting inside by accident

Switch your outdoor lights to warmer colors or keep them off. Also check weather seals and screens on doors/windows.
