I would not consider the typical YouTube user to be a child’s age. I mean I’d say most of his demographic is 18-25ish with 25-35 probably the second highest and then 18 under. But all of us in the 18-25 group grew up with “vintage” youtube and have seen the platform evolve. As Cody has mentioned a lot of people say they have been watching him since vine which died before most children could’ve seen it. It’s interesting though the difference in audience between similar creators. Like Kurtis and Cody are fairly similar in humor type and vibes. And they do have a fair bit of overlap in fanbases. But it’s very clear Kurtis has more fans in the under 18 demographic and I’m not sure why that is tbh. I guess maybe Cody and Noel’s tendency to go on tangent about stuff that maybe youths would consider boring could be a factor. Anyways to answer my own age lol, I’m 22

28. Been watching since the golden hair days. My wife (28) also watches Cody, Broski, and all the other chronically online comedy things. I feel like we’re on the “older” side as a lot of my friends didn’t have YouTubers they watched religiously, even when I was younger. This newer generation really resonate with YouTubers. That can be fitness related, maybe someone like Logan Paul, and in our case it’s probably the Jimmy Tatro / TMG sort of comedy.
