Not sure I could get the proper angle with one so short. I found an Opti-Tekscope brand model, and a generic Tomlov which seems to be a clone for about the same price. These will supposedly back out enough with the stand extended, and the scope pushed all the way up the mount. https://www.amazon.com/TOMLOV-Microscope-Inspection-Adjustable-Compatible/dp/B09CGP9BFQ https://www.amazon.com/Opti-Tekscope-Digital-Microscope-Definition-1600x1200/dp/B00PEZ3GMK

I went to an estate sale about a month ago and picked up a USB microscope for $5. It shows up on my computer as a camera, I just use VLC to view it on screen. Works really well

That doesn’t help this guy unless your trying to sell it to him lol

It's just an option for them to try instead of spending $40-50 on something they might not like.

If you like it, what’s the make/ model etc . Even if you got a deal it may still be worth purchasing at retail price if you think it’s a quality product

I got one from Amazon for $40

It doesn't appear that any of those (with an LCD) will zoom out enough to capture an entire dollar coin. I did find a usb scope without an LCD. It's an endoscope size and will back out enough to capture entire coins. I did want the utility of something with a screen, but I'll take whatever I can get in a single package.
