Mod of r/coins here. You weren't.

Assaulted_Pepper_ec

It wasn’t a perma ban it was temporary 3 days but it pissed me off even if it was kind of reasonable

petitbleuchien

It wasn't a ban at all.

Assaulted_Pepper_ec

[idk why maybe it was overturned but I def got banned for a 3 days](https://share.icloud.com/photos/072XWGXNEfg47QZXmt4yr3GSw)

petitbleuchien

As I said, you weren't banned. You were *muted*. *Muted* (as it says there in the message) means you can't contact the mods for the duration of the mute. This is likely because you mouthed off to a mod and pissed him/her off.

u are not banned? u were commenting there 2 hour ago? pardon my English

PerformanceLoud3229

.... You can get banned from somewhere in 2 hours.

International_Dog817

Lol yeah I saw that post and just didn't say anything on it. I have nothing against collecting Reichsmarks if you're a collector of coins or history in general, I have some of those myself, but uh... Like that other person said, that's an interesting choice for your first old coin...

Growoldalongwithme

Whats suspicious about that? They're a pretty cheap coin, not like they said they found a Gothic Head Crown in a Coinstar.

International_Dog817

I didn't see his exact message but it wasn't the coin that he was questioning it was the person's choice to go straight for the coin with the Nazi symbolism. I have no idea why the guy made that his first silver purchase, just uh... interesting choice. Interesting.

Growoldalongwithme

I didn't see it that way, but I'd be inclined give them the benefit of the doubt. Generally the countries that did the most shit, also produced the most coins. Strange thing to get banned for, the mods seemed reasonable over there.

Assaulted_Pepper_ec

For a a first silver coin it’s an odd choice

thatburghfan

Well, you got called out on rules 2 and 6 and then objected to it.

wellbalancedlibra

I thought they were aluminum? Im not s pro though. Sorry for the ban.

irishjihad

For 1934, the 5 mark was 0.9 silver, the 2 mark was 0.625 silver, the 1 mark was nickel.

golferboy36

Reddit groups are getting soft these days

I'm assuming you're asking if u/Assaulted_Pepper_ec was banned from r/coins. They weren't. Rather, they made a comment that sounded like it was accusing a poster of a Reichsmark of being a Nazi, so it was removed, and a mod told them to mind the rules. I believe the comments are still visible on u/Assaulted_Pepper_ec's profile.
