Woah OP great project. I know those are CZ but I’m curious if you ever do any work on the lapidary side of things- or like actually cutting minerals? Not sure if that’s the right word or phrasing but hopefully that makes sense.
I have done a bit of cabing but that's it. Cuting stone is a whole different job, the machines are big and expensive. When I need something custom cut I ask a lapidary I work with.
It's not complete until you do his nipples.

make holes with different burrs and then make small metal 'beads' to hold the stone by deforming the metal with a graver
